New ‘Homeland’ Spoilers For Season 8, February 16, 2020 Episode 2 Revealed
Hey, “Homeland” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed the big premiere episode 1 of this current season 8. Lord knows it was long overdue. Now that it’s officially in the history books, we’re going to slide in here to tell you guys a few things you can expect to see play out when the next, new episode 2 rolls around next Sunday night.
Showtime was nice enough to serve up a few teaser descriptions for episode 2. So, we will certainly tell you guys all about those. Showtime also released a new set preview photos for episode 2. We’ll talk about those as well, and we will give you guys a link to them. Let’s do this.
To start, Showtime revealed that the next, new episode 2 is officially called/titled, “Catch and Release.”
The new episode 2 sounds like it will feature some pretty interesting, possible action-filled and intense scenes as Carrie reconnects with a friend from the past. Tasneem searches for counsel. Saul ends up finding some hope and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the friend from the past situation. It turns out that Carrie will indeed have a pretty interesting moment in this episode. At some point, we will see Carrie end up reconnecting with one of her friends she had met long ago.
Showtime’s official description for this particular Carrie storyline reads like this,”Carrie reconnects with an old ally.”
Who will this old ally of Carrie’s turn out to be? That is a very important question we’ll be looking to see get answered in this episode. Whatever the case, it sounds like this storyline could feature some possible, very interesting scenes depending on who this ally from the past is.
As we previously reported, expect to see Carrie set up a meeting of some sort in episode 3. We’re also officially hearing that Carrie will get a major shocker in episode 4. So, more major Carrie scenes are coming up this season for sure.
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Tanseem will be in action in this episode. At some point, we will see Tanseem be quite busy as she searches for some counsel.
Showtime’s description for this Tasneem situation reads like this, “Tasneem seeks counsel.”
Will Tasneem find the counsel she seeks? That’s a big question for this particular plotline. Currently, we’re not seeing any other spoiler teasers for Tasneem beyond this episode. So, we will definitely have to wait and see what’s in store for her. It sounds like her scenes could be semi-interesting.
The 3rd and last teaser description lets us know that Saul will surely be back in action in this episode. At some point, Saul will be seen finding some hope in the midst of everything that’s going on.
Showtime’s description for this Saul scenario tells us, “Saul finds hope.” So, that sounds promising for Saul’s character. As we previously reported, you guys can expect to see Saul cut some sort of a deal in episode 3.
Then in episode 4, we’re going to see Saul make an announcement of some sort. We can’t elaborate on what this announcement will be because Showtime made sure to keep these descriptions quite vague.
But, we’re thinking that Saul’s announcement could be quite significant. So, it also seems like Saul will have more big scenes coming up.
It especially looks that way in the new preview photos for episode 2. Saul is definitely seen in a couple of the pics. Some of his scenes look like they could be pretty dramatic.
Carrie is definitely seen in quite a bit of the photos. Her scenes feature her meeting up with a few people and talking on the phone. She also looks very serious and focused in all of these scenes. She will certainly have a lot of activities going on in this episode.

Showtime confirmed that episode 2 is indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night, February 16, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
