New ‘Homeland’ Spoilers For Season 8, February 9, 2020 Premiere Episode 1 Revealed
Hey,”Homeland” fans. It is finally time for your favorite drama to return with its long anticipated 8th season. I can’t believe it’s been friggin 2 years since season 7 ended, but delays and setbacks will do that.
Anyways, we’re here to tell you that we’ve got some new spoiler scoops for the premiere episode 1 of Homeland’s brand new season 8.
The lovely folks over at Showtime were kind enough to deliver an official synopsis for it. So, we’re going to run a couple of teaser descriptions by you in this article. We’ll also pitch in some other insights if we come across them. Let’s get started.
First of all, Showtime did reveal that the premiere episode 1 is officially titled,”Deception Indicated.” Hmmm, that sounds like a lie detector test could be involved or something.
Anyways, it sounds like episode 1 will feature some interesting, possible action-filled and dramatic scenes as Carrie ends up recovering in Germany. Saul sets up a negotiation situation. Max sets out on a new mission and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Carrie situation. It turns out that Carrie will be up to some semi-interesting things in this episode. At some point, we will see Carrie making her recovery while in Germany.
Showtime’s official description for this Carrie scenario reads like this, “Carrie recovers in Germany.”
We were able to track down some extra intel for Carrie’s character as she moves through this latest season 8. We’re officially hearing that we will see Carrie reconnect with an ally from her past. Look for that to happen in episode 2.
We don’t know who this ally is. Showtime made sure to not mention it. So, we will have to wait and tune in to see who it is. We’re also hearing that Carrie will arrange a meeting of some sort in episode 3.
So, it sounds like Carrie will be making quite a bit of important moves to kick off this new season 8. Get ready to see your girl back in action to kick off this new season 8.
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Saul will be up to some pretty serious-sounding activities in this episode. At some point, we’re going to see Saul try to pull off some sort of negotiation. Showtime’s description for this Saul plotline reads like this, “Saul negotiates.”
Yeah, Showtime was pretty vague with that description. So, we have no idea who Saul will be negotiating with or what the negotiation is about. However, we do have some intel for Saul moving forward. We’re officially hearing that Saul will find some hope at some point in episode 2.
Then in episode 3, Saul will be quite busy, setting up a new deal of some sort. The official spoiler teaser for that storyline reads like this, “Saul cuts a deal.” So, also look for Saul to be very active to kick off this latest season 8.
The 3rd and last teaser description lets us know that Max will have a very important-sounding situation going on in this premiere episode 1. At some point, Max will be seen discovering that he has a new mission he needs to complete.
Showtime’s description for this particular Max storyline tells us, “Max has a new mission.” What will Max’s new mission turn out to be? That is a major question we’ll be looking to see hopefully get answered in this episode.
Whatever the case, it sounds like this storyline could feature some really interesting scenes depending on what Max’s new mission turns out to be. We are officially hearing that Max will try to pull off some rescue mission in episode 5, but that’s a ways off. Still, it could be what he’s currently up to in this new episode 1. We’ll have to wait and see.
Showtime also released a few, new preview photos for episode 1. They feature Carrie in a couple of photos. She’s seen getting some medical care in these scenes. She’s also seen in a few other different situations.
Saul is also seen in a few of the pics. He appears to be having a meeting in one of them. That must be the negotiation scene. Most of his scenes look pretty serious.

Showtime confirmed that episode 1 is scheduled to a air tonight,February 9, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
