‘Station 19’ Season 3, May 14, 2020 Episode 16 Is The Finale. Renewed For Season 4
Hey, “Station 19” fans. We hopped on here to let you guys know some good news and some bad news for your favorite drama “Station 19.” The bad news is that its current season 3 will indeed be ending tonight, May 14, 2020 with episode 16.
We’re pretty sure they probably had more episodes scheduled, but had to cut the season short due to the terrible pandemic. Whatever the case, you guys should prepare to be without anymore new Station 19 episodes for quite some time.
And that leads us right into the good news that we have for you guys. We can officially tell you that there will indeed be more new episodes for you guys to look forward to because ABC did officially renew Station 19 for a brand new season 4!
That’s right, guys. Your favorite show will be back for another run. Currently, we’re not sure how many episodes it will feature. It’s also very possible that season 4 could get held back to the midseason again since this pandemic is screwing up all of the filming schedules for most TV shows.
According to the folks over at TV Line, the president of ABC Entertainment Karey Burke had very good things to say about the Station 19 cast and crew when she made the season 4 renewal announcement.
She stated, “Krista Vernoff is a sharp, superb storyteller and we’re so grateful to her — along with the talented cast and crew — for all they’ve done to make Station 19 thrive this season. This addictive, rich show is hitting series highs this year for a reason, and we can’t wait to deliver more great stories to our passionate audience.”
We do have some Station 19 LIVE ratings and viewership numbers for you guys. Season 3 of Station 19 managed to average 6.496 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 1.06 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.
The last episode 15 that aired on May 7, 2020 brought in 5.567 million LIVE viewers and a 0.80 ratings score.
Episode 12, which aired on April 9, 2020 was the most-viewed episode with 7.557 million LIVE viewers. The least-watched episode was actually last week’s episode 15 with the 5.567 million LIVE viewers.
Episode 9, which aired on March 19, 2020 was the highest rated episode with a 1.28 ratings score. Last week’s episode 15 was actually also the lowest-rated episode with the 0.80 ratings score.
Overall, those numbers sound pretty solid. So, we’re not surprised that ABC renewed Station 19 for a new, 4th season.
Again, the season 3, finale episode 16 of Station 19 is scheduled to air tonight, May 14, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on ABC, of course.
