To start, ABC revealed that episode 5 is officially entitled,”Fault.” That’s right. They kept the title very short and simple this time.

It sounds like the new episode 5 will feature some interesting, intense, dramatic and possible emotional scenes as Shaun questions his latest decision. Claire, Alex and Jordan treat a patient with a very serious health condition that’s affecting the brain. Morgan and Park have a bonding moment and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Shaun situation. It turns out that one of Shaun’s interns is going to make a huge mistake in this episode by misdiagnosing a patient, and it will certainly cause some very terrible consequences.

Also, this is going to weigh super heavy on poor Shaun to the point that he questions ever giving his interns the opportunity to make choices on their own.

ABC’s official description for this latest Shaun storyline tells us, “Dr. Shaun Murphy questions his decision to give the new residents autonomy when one of his intern’s misdiagnosis of a patient has dire consequences.” An alternate description reads like this, “DR. SHAUN MURPHY IS DISTRAUGHT WHEN AN INTERN’S MISTAKE HAS DIRE CONSEQUENCES.”

The second spoiler scoop reveals that doctors Claire, Alex and Jordan will definitely have their hands full in this installment when they get tasked with caring for a patient that is suffering from a ruptured cyst, which is affecting very important function of her brain!

ABC’s description for this Claire, Alex and Jordan storyline reads like this, “Dr. Claire Browne, Dr. Alex Park and Dr. Jordan Allen (Bria Samoné Henderson) treat a patient with a ruptured cyst affecting key functions of her brain.”

The 3rd and last teaser description lets us know that Morgan and Park will have some new scenes together in this episode. Apparently, they will find out that they have something in common when it comes to relationships. They’ve both failed at them. So, they will bond over that fact.

ABC’s description for this Morgan and Park scenario reads like this,”Dr. Morgan Reznick and Park bond over failed relationships.”

ABC also pointed out that this episode 5 is the winter finale episode. That means you guys won’t be getting anymore new episodes for a pretty good while after this one. New episodes will start back up on January 11, 2021. We’ll do a separate article on that later on.
