Blue Bloods Season 11, January 29, 2021 Episode 6 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “Blue Bloods” fans. We’re just going to get straight to the point. We’ve got some bad news for you guys in this article. We’ve learned that for some reason, CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 6 of Blue Bloods’ current season 11 tonight, January 29, 2021.
Fortunately, that’s the worst of this news because we can officially tell you that CBS is scheduled to air the new episode 6 next Friday night, February 5, 2021 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to jot down that very important date and time at your earliest convenience.
We did take a look to see what CBS is airing in place of the next, new episode 6 of Blue Bloods’ current season 11 tonight. According to the TV guide listings, CBS will be serving up a repeat episode of Blue Bloods. This particular rerun will be the 5th episode of last season 10 titled, “The Price You Pay.”
CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Frank works to vindicate Detective Douglas McKenzie (Mike Carlsen), a detective accused of using excessive force. Also, Danny and Baez track down the killer responsible for the death of a rapper’s bodyguard.
Jamie is skeptical about a relationship between Espinoza (Luis Antonio Ramos)and a new rookie officer, Sarah Brooks (Lily Brown); and Eddie goes undercover to help Erin investigate a mysterious cult on a rebroadcast of BLUE BLOODS.”
If any of you guys find that particular repeat episode to be an enticing, watching possibility, you might still want to CBS to be a channel destination during that time. If not, you’ll definitely want to get something else lined up immediately.
With that said, CBS did serve up an official press release for the next, new episode 6 of Blue Bloods’ current season 11. So, we do have some additional info for it. We’re going to unleash it on you guys right now.

With that said, let’s take a look at what CBS has revealed for this new episode 6. First off, it’s officially labeled/titled, “The New Normal.”
It sounds like episode 6 will feature some very intense, dramatic, possible action-filled and interesting scenes.
In the new episode 6,Frank will be facing quite a bit of drama as he’ll have to deal with a police captain that is losing his grip over his precinct. This will cause The Reagans to have to make some hard decisions while on the job.
Danny will find himself in deep, deep trouble with Baez and the Internal Affairs department as they will totally throw a lot of backlash in his direction over a certain call he made while in the field.
Jamie and Eddie will go on a new learning adventure in this episode when a social worker shows them the ropes of field crisis management during a special, ride-a-long session.
Erin will be very busy with some very important-sounding issues as she contemplates the consequences of letting a very dangerous criminal out on the loose under new bail laws.
CBS’ official description for episode 6 reads like this, “The Reagans confront hard choices on the job when Frank deals with a police captain who’s losing his grip over his precinct, and Danny faces backlash from the Baez and Internal Affairs over a tough call he made in the field.
Also, Jamie and Eddie are shown the ropes of field crisis management when a social worker is assigned to them for a ride-a-long, and Erin weighs the consequences of a dangerous criminal’s release under new bail laws.”
Episode 6 will feature quite a few guest stars. They are: Kate Rockwell as character (Claire Gilmore), Joe Curnutte as character (William Maloney), Trian Long-Smith as character (Angela Bennett), Jim Klock as character (Captain Keith Butler), Daneil Bellomy as character (Warren Pratt).
Guest stars continued: Mason Versaw as character (Donald Turner), Caralyn Kozlowski as character (Susan Turner), Josh Breckenridge as character (Officer Wendell), Tricia Paoluccio as character (Judge Enid Kramer), Ann Harada as character (IAB Lt. Sloan), Armando Acevedo as character (IAB Detective Marcos) and Magdalena Borlano as character (Christina Rizzo).
Episode 6 will feature a couple of recurring stars. They are: Abigail Hawk as character (Abigail Baker), Gregory Jbara as character (Garrett Moore), Robert Clohessy as character (Lt. Gormley), Steven Schirripa as character (Anthony Abetamarco), Andrew Terraciano as character (Sean Reagan), Lauren Patten as character (Officer Rachel Witten), Eric B. as character (Lt. Mike Gee) and Roslyn Ruff as character (D.A. Kimberley Crawford).
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 6 are: Tom Selleck as character (Frank Reagan), Donnie Wahlberg as character (Danny Reagan),Bridget Moynahan as character (Erin Reagan), Will Estes as character (Jamie Reagan), Len Cariou as character (Henry Reagan), Sami Gayle as character (Nicky Reagan-Boyle), Marisa Ramirez as character (Det. Maria Baez) and Vanessa Ray as character (Officer Eddie Janko).
Episode 6 was written by Ian Biederman, and it was directed by David Barrett.
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 6 of Blue Bloods’ current season 11 is scheduled to air next Friday night, February 5, 2021 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
