Manifest Season 3, June 10, 2021 Episodes 12 & 13 Are The Finale. Season 4 Not Yet Confirmed
Hey, “Manifest” fans. We totally hope you guys had a blast watching tonight’s episodes 12 and 13, especially since they were the last episodes for this current season 3. That’s right, guys. Episodes 12 and 13 were indeed the finale episodes for Manifest’s current season 3.
Unfortunately, we can’t officially confirm with you guys, right now, if there will be a new season 4 because NBC hasn’t quite made their renewal decision just yet. However, we were able to track down some insight into how NBC is feeling about renewing Manifest for a new season 4, thanks to the folks over at Deadline.com.
Back on May 27, 2021, Deadline revealed that NBC canceled one of their new dramas named “Debris,” and that this cancellation gave Manifest better chances of landing a new season 4 renewal. In addition to that, they said that Warner Bros. Television Group chairman Channing Dungey definitely wants to keep Manifest going on NBC.
Apparently, NBC had bought the show from Susan Rovner over at Warner Bros. TV. Susan is now NBCU content chief and is in charge of Manifest’s future. Channing Dungey is currently in talks with Susan about keeping Manifest going for a new season 4. He stated, “We are having conversations with Susan. We would love for the show to continue on NBC. We are still in conversations with NBC and keeping our fingers crossed.”
Deadline.com went on to reveal that Manifest was sold to NBC with an initial plan to deliver 6 seasons. Again, a possible season 4 is still currently in limbo. So, we’ll have to wait and see what NBC decides moving forward.
Manifest season 3 averaged 3.146 million LIVE viewers and a 0.48 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 11, which aired last Thursday night, June 3, 2021, drew in 2.779 million LIVE viewers and a 0.39 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 3.994 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 11 with 2.779 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.65 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 11 with a 0.39 ratings score. Honestly, I can see why Manifest is currently on the bubble over at NBC. Manifest’s viewership numbers did get pretty low for a major network like NBC. You guys should definitely cross your fingers for this one.
Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest “Manifest” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
