Bachelor In Paradise August 16, 2021 Eliminated No One (Recap)

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, August 16, 2021, the premiere episode 1 of Bachelor In Paradise 2021 edition did indeed hit the air. It kicked off with an introduction to this season’s initial castmembers: Serena P from Matt James’ season, Jessenia Cruz from Matt James’ season, Connor Brennan from Katie Thurston’s season, Joe Amabile and Kelsey Weir from Matt James’ season.

Next, actor and comedian David Spade showed up to greet some of the contestants: Abigail from Matt James’ season, Joe Amabile, Ivan from Tayshia Adams’ season and Serena P. Kelsey showed up with a bottle of Champagne for David. He had hard time popping the cork, but he eventually got it open.

At one point, Ivan and Joe told Abigail, they are both excited to meet Serena P. Next, we saw Brendan Morais show up followed by Natasha Parker, Tammy Ly, Tre Cooper from Katie Thurston’s season, Jessenia and Aaron Clancy from Katie Thurston’s season. Kenny Braasch showed up naked. I mean he was just literally walking around naked. Everyone just laughed. The girls eventually put a shawl around him.

Noah Erb from Tayshia Adams’ season showed up. Noah and Abigail started talking. They seemed to have a good time at this point. Connor Brennan from Katie Thurston’s season made his appearance.

At one point, poor Joe started telling the private cams, “I don’t know if I want to do this anymore. I probably shouldn’t have came back.”

Victoria L from Matt James’ season showed up to greet David Spade. Victoria now calls herself a Sun Goddess instead of a Queen.

Mari Pepin-Solis showed up followed by Tahzjuan Hawkins. Tahzjuan told the private cams, “I went on a date with Tre’s uncle, and we kissed.” She also told Tre that she dated his uncle. He was kind of taken a back by it at first.

James Bonsall and Karl Smith from Katie Thurston’s season showed up. Tahzjuan told the private cams, “I don’t wanna talk to Karl. Who wears a friggin watch and tennis shoes to the beach?”

Next, David Spade and Wells the bartender told the casts the rules of Bachelor In Paradise and what to expect during this season. They told them, there are currently 10 guys and 13 girls. 3 girls will be going home this week.

Aaron said he was thinking about giving a rose to Tammy. Brendan said, “I’m thinking about giving a rose to Natasha, but she’s still gotta work for it.” Tahzjuan mentioned that she had a great conversation with Tre. Tahzjuan also had a conversation with Brendan. She said, “Brendan is a great conversationalist.”

Next, Abigail got a date card. She asked Noah to go on a date with her. He said yes. Joe was still moping around. He told the private cams, “I don’t know if I’m up for this again to be honest.”

Noah told the private cams, “I think Abigail is a girl I could get engaged to.” Abigail told Noah, “I move very slow with guys.” Noah said, “That might be hard on here.” Abigail said , “I friend zone guys very easily. I need to stop doing that.”

Connor B and Mari started talking and they kissed.

Tahzjuan and Tre talked. Tre told Tahzjuan, “I’m excited to see what this turns into.” Tahzjuan said, “I need someone who’s going to go for it and knows what they want.” Then, they kissed. Tahzjuan told the private cams,”I really enjoyed kissing Tre. He’s better than his uncle.”

Noah told the private cams of Abigail , “I think she’s very guarded.” Noah told Abigail,”You have a heart of gold.” Then, they smashed pinatas together. After that, they kissed. Noah told the private cams, “Abigail is the one I’m interested in, and I’m glad I could move from some random guy that’s in the friend zone.”

Joe talked with Wells about how he’s currently feeling. Joe said, “I don’t think I should be here. I think I should leave.” Then, Serena P went to talk with Joe. He talked with her about how his past relationship with Kendall fell apart. Then, they stated flirting a little bit and kissed. Joe told the private cams, “Starting to develop feelings for Serena does make me wanna stay.”

Aaron made out with Tammy. Next, Demi Burnett showed up to greet David Spade. Demi told the private cams, “I look fine a f%^ck. Those poor girls. I’m gonna steal all their men.” It was super funny.

That was it for the very first episode of Bachelor In Paradise 2021 edition. No one got eliminated in this premiere episode. I guess maybe that will happen in next week’s new episode. We’ll have to wait and see.

The next, new episode of Bachelor In Paradise 2021 edition is scheduled to air next Monday night, August 23, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on ABC.
