New SWAT Season 5 Spoilers For October 1, 2021 Premiere Episode 1 Revealed
Hey, “S.W.A.T.” fans. Welcome to the brand new season 5. We know you guys have been waiting around for it for 3 or 4 months. Well, the wait is finally over because the new, premiere episode 1 is hitting the air tonight, October 1, 2021, and we’ve got a few spoiler scoops for it.
We were able to get an official teaser description for one of episode 1’s main storylines via CBS’ official episode 1 press release. So, we’re going to take a look at it right now. Let’s do it.
To start, CBS revealed that this new episode 1 of SWAT’s new season 5 is officially named, “Vagabundo.” It sounds like episode 1 will feature some possible intense, dramatic, action-filled and interesting scenes.
In the new episode 1, Hondo will take the main spotlight for this storyline that CBS chose to give up. Apparently, Hondo is going to choose to speak out in the press at some point. After that, he’s going to head off to Mexico to just chill out and think about his future life and career. While doing so, he will eventually get caught up in an intense fight for justice that a local family is going through.
CBS’ official description for episode 1 tells us, “In the aftermath of his decision to speak out in the press, Hondo retreats to a quiet town in Mexico to reassess his life and professional future, only to find himself reluctantly drawn into one local family’s fight for justice on the season premiere of S.W.A.T.”
An alternate description reads like this, “HONDO RETREATS TO MEXICO TO PONDER HIS FUTURE AND FINDS HIMSELF DRAWN INTO A LOCAL FAMILY’S FIGHT FOR JUSTICE.”
Episode 1 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Val Dorantes as character (Delfina), Timothy V. Murphy as character (Arthur), José-Maria Aguila as character (Charro), Adolfo Madera as character (Ramírez), Sofía Sylwin as character (Paloma).
Guest stars continued: David Arauza as character (Chief Barrera), Pilar Padilla as character (Isabel), Luke Cook as character (A.J.), Ricardo Abarca as character (Gabriel), Arnoldo Picazzo as character (Willie) and Ricardo Momentey as character (Pablo).
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 1 are: Shemar Moore as character (Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson), Alex Russell as character (Jim Street), Jay Harrington as character (David “Deacon” Kay), Lina Esco as character (Christina “Chris” Alonso), Kenny Johnson as character (Dominique Luca), David Lim aas character (Victor Tan) and Patrick St. Esprit as character (Commander Robert Hicks).
Episode 1 was written by Mellori Velasquez, and it was directed by Billy Gierhart.
CBS’ press release confirmed that the new, premiere episode 1 of SWAT’s new season 5 is indeed scheduled to air tonight, October 1, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
