The Cleaning Lady Season 1, March 14, 2022 Episode 10 Is The Finale. Season 2 Not Yet Confirmed
Hey, “The Cleaning Lady” fans. We hope you guys totally got everything you need and wanted out of episode 10 ,tonight, especially since episode 10 was indeed the last episode of The Cleaning Lady’s current, premiere season 1.
That’s right, guys. Episode 10 was officially the season 1 finale episode. Apparently, FOX only gave it a 10-episode order for the first season. So, you’re not going to get anymore episodes of The Cleaning Lady possibly forever!
The reason we say that is because we have yet to get an official confirmation from FOX that they are renewing The Cleaning Lady for a brand new season 2. Right now, the only thing we can do is speculate about its prospects of getting a season 2 renewal from FOX. So, what we’re going to do is take a look at the numbers that season 1 posted and see if that can give us a little insight into what FOX might do.
The Cleaning Lady’s very first and possibly last season was able to average 3.188 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.46 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 9, which aired last Monday night, March 7, 2022, was able to draw in 2.939 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.44 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 3.650 million LIVE viewers. The least-watched episode was episode 8 with 2.620 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was episode 4 with a 0.55 ratings score. The lowest-rated episodes were episodes 7 and 8. They tied for last place with a 0.39 ratings score. If we’re just going off these numbers, the chances of a season 2 renewal do seem pretty slim I have to be honest.
However,there are other factors that could go in to play, like how much does it cost to produce the show and pay the actors. In other words, how much is it actually costing FOX to purchase this show versus how much they make off of it. If FOX thinks they have some other pilots/shows in the works that might do better then they’ll probably cancel The Cleaning Lady.
It will all come down to how much money can FOX make off keeping The Cleaning Lady in its line-up versus how much they can make off of running a different show in its time slot. With those pretty low numbers , we can certainly see why FOX hasn’t been quick to serve up a renewal if any.
All I can tell you guys is to just cross your fingers and hope really, really hard that FOX renews it because the viewership and ratings numbers weren’t very compelling for major network like FOX, but we’ll see. Maybe it is enough. Who knows? I’ve just seen shows with much greater numbers get canceled in the past.
