New Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 Premiere Date Revealed By ABC
Hey, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We hope all of you totally enjoyed the most recent season 18 of Grey’s Anatomy, which just wrapped up at the end of May 2022. Now that we’re pretty deep into the month of June, we’ve just gotten some release dates for ABC’s Fall 2022 line up of shows.
One of the shows is none other than your favorite medical drama Grey’s Anatomy. That’s right, guys. Grey’s Anatomy will be coming back with its brand new season 19 this Fall 2022, and we’ve got the official premiere date from ABC.
With no further ado, you guys can expect to see the new season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy to finally make its big debut on Thursday night, October 6, 2022 in its same 8 pm central standard time slot. So, nothing will change. Grey’s Anatomy is keeping its same night and time slot. You guys won’t have to change up your viewing schedules at all. Just tune in on Thursday night like you always did as soon as October 6, 2022 rolls around.
As previously reported, Grey’s Anatomy’s creator Shonda Rhimes had wonderful things to say about the latest renewal of her creation, and she’s very excited for it stating, “I couldn’t be more excited that we get to keep telling the stories of Meredith, Bailey and Richard.”
Grey’s Anatomy’s spin-off show Station 19 will also debut its new season 6 on that same night in the 7 pm central standard time slot. So, if you watch Station 19, you won’t have to change up your schedule for it either as it’s keeping its same night and time slot.
Grey’s Anatomy season 18 did quite well for ABC, averaging 4.085 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.63 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The last episode 20 drew in 4.192 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.65 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 4.769 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 12 with 3.602 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.77 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 17 with a 0.49 ratings score.
Again, the new season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy is currently scheduled to premiere on Thursday night, October 6, 2022 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on ABC.
