Marvel’s Thor Love And Thunder Sequel Aka Thor 5 Movie Might Happen. New Details

Hey, Marvel movie fans. We are back on here with another very important report about the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). This one is in reference to Marvel’s latest, huge movie “Thor: Love And Thunder.” Currently, it’s due to hit theaters, nationwide, today, July 8, 2022.

With this release, we thought we would take a look at the possibilities of another sequel to this one taking place at some point in the future. If another sequel did happen, that would, of course, be the 5th movie installment for this Thor franchise.

According to recent report from the folks over at Radiotimes.com, it definitely seems like a new Thor 5 movie is definitely not out of the question, especially when it comes to its main star Chris Hemsworth. He’s definitely down to keep playing Thor until the wheels fall off as they say.

He recently told the press of the Thor movies,”I’ll do it until someone says get off the stage. I love it.” That’s definitely something we like to hear from the main star. I’ve seen so many main stars in the past that want to ditch playing the character that made them famous. So, this is refreshing to hear from Chris.

Radiotimes.com also rounded up some snippets of Marvel’s head boss Kevin Feige actually talking about what future Thor movies would be about while doing press for “Thor: Love And Thunder.” Kevin said there are definitely still a lot more great Thor stories to tell from the comic books stating, “The question is, ‘Have you told all the great Thor stories from the comics in movies?’ The answer is no. There are lots of them.

I’ve always said our interest in making additional stories is somewhat about continuing the character, but it’s almost entirely about continuing the experience with the actor.

I think of all of our cast not as their individual characters, but as the Marvel players who within that character can grow and evolve and change. And if we look at the comics as our guide, there are plenty of other incarnations of Thor that we have yet to see.”

Radiotimes.com also collected some snippets from the Thor: Love And Thunder director Taika Waititi. In his comments about a possible Thor 5 movie, he was a little less optimistic than Chris Hemsworth and Kevin Feige. Apparently, these Marvel movies are really hard for him to direct. However, he could always be lured back into doing another one.

Taika stated about directing another Thor flick, “I haven’t thought about it as part of a new trilogy, because every time I make a film, I think, ‘I’m never doing that again’ because they’re just too hard.

I’ve done it eight times now. Eight times I’ve said, ‘I think I’m just going to pack it in. I had a good run.’ And then, sure enough, I get lured back in with a Yankee dollar. Lured back in by them cookies and them Oscars. Who knows if we do another one after this, but I definitely feel like we put everything — every idea and every single ridiculous concept or gag or stunt or character into this film. I couldn’t be happier with it.”

Based on all of that, I think if “Thor: Love And Thunder” becomes another big money-maker for Marvel at the box office this weekend, it’s highly possible that we’ll get a new Thor 5 at some point in the future because there’s definitely more great stories to tell and so on and so forth.

Alright, guys. That’s all the info we could dig up for this latest, “Thor: Love And Thunder” movie report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
