Dancing With The Stars October 24, 2022 Eliminated Jessie James Decker & Alan (Recap)
Hey, “Dancing With The Stars” fans. Tonight, October 24, 2022, another new performances/results episode of Dancing With The Stars’ current season 31 did indeed hit the air. Judges: Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli were, of course, back to do more critiquing and scoring. However,on this special night, they were joined by a special, 5th judge singer Michael Buble. Apparently, all the couples danced to his catalog of songs tonight.
Shangela and Gleb Savchenko kicked off tonight’s performances with a Tango routine to Michael Buble’s “Hollywood” song. Afterwards, Len said, “I loved that it was so full of content. You were good in frame with good, flexed knees. This was your best dance this season.” Michael said, “You captured the essence of the song.”
Derek said, “Your frame was unbelievable, but there was a foot misstep.” Bruno said, “This was a tsunami of glamour, but there was a mishap.” Carrie Ann said, “This was your best dance, and that’s what it’s going to take to win this competition. However, I did notice the misstep as well.”
Carrie Ann gave Shangela & Gleb a 9 score, Len a 9, Michael a 9, Derek a 9 and Bruno a 9 for a 45 score out of a possible 50 score.
Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater delivered a Foxtrot dance to “Come Fly With Me” song. Afterwards, Michael said, “It was charming and free, old-school Hollywood.” Derek said, “You had a lot of presence, but your booty stuck out a little too much.”
Bruno said, “You channeled Robert Redford. It was the smoothest you’ve ever been. You were at ease and relaxed. This was your best performance yet.” Carrie Ann said, “This was your best dance, and your confidence was a huge improvement from the beginning of this season.” Len said, “You showed elegant and suave sophistication. However, the steps were a little skippy at times.”
Carrie Ann gave Trevor & Emma 9 score, Len an 8, Michael an 8, Derek an 8 and Bruno 9 for a 42 score.
Gabby Windey and Val Chmerkovskiy served up a Rumba number to “Home” song. Afterwards, Derek said, “You’re a beautiful dancer with great attention to detail, but you needed to be a little more rounded in this one.” Bruno said, “Some of the shapes were drawn beautifully. It was subtle, sensual and elegant. In a word, perfect.”
Carrie Ann said, “This wasn’t as good as last week, but this performance showed a different focus that could help you in the future.” Len said, “I don’t think you’re going home for ages.” Michael said, “This was the sexiest version of my song that I’ve ever seen.”
Carrie Ann gave Gabby & Val a 9 score, Len a 9, Michael a 9, Derek a 9 and Bruno a 10 for a 46 score.
Vinny Guadagnino and Koko Iwasaki danced a Cha Cha routine to “Save The Last Dance For Me” song. Afterwards, Bruno said, “I can’t help but smile watching you, but the timing was on different coasts and the hip action looked forced.” Carrie Ann said, “The audience loves you because everyone can feel your joy even though your technique left much to be desired.”
Len said, “I liked seeing more content than last week, but this was a mess. You went wrong at the beginning and there was no pressure through your feet.” Michael said, “The other judges are full of it.” Derek said, “I like the people’s champion.”
Carrie Ann gave Vinny & Koko a 7 score, Len a 7, Michael an 8, Derek a 7 and Bruno a 7 for a 36 score.
Jordin Sparks and Brandon Armstrong performed a Foxtrot dance to “You Make Me Feel So Young” song. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “You interpret the music so superbly. You’re like the harmony to the melody, but you need to watch your arm that’s not in hold. It’s too slack.”
Len said, “You had lovely musicality.” Michael said, “This was effortless ,and it looks like you’re enjoying it so much.” Derek said, “You radiate and fill the space with beauty, but on a technical note, your shoulders lifted a little.” Bruno said, “This was a feel-good foxtrot on every level. You interpret the meaning of the song.”
Carrie Ann gave Jordin & Brandon a 9 score, Len an 8, Michael a 9, Derek an 8 and Bruno a 9 for a 43 score.
Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas delivered a Foxtrot routine to “Fever” song. Afterwards, Len said, “I loved the swing and sway throughout the dance. It was just fantastic.” Michael said, “This was effortless, mesmerizing and expressively erotic.”
Derek said, “This was the best quality foxtrot I have ever seen on the show with great rise and fall and texture.” Bruno said, “You send me into dance ecstasy, and you were reminiscent of Ann Reinking.” Carrie Ann said, “I’m proud of you. You drew them in, and every line was a masterpiece.”
Carrie Ann gave Charlie & Mark a perfect 10 score, Len a 10, Michael a 10, Derek a 10 and Bruno a 10 for a perfect 50 score!
Heidi D’Amelio and Artem Chigvintsev rocked out a Samba number to “It Had Better Be Tonight (Meglio Stasera)” song. Afterwards, Michael said, “You make this look easy.” Derek said, “This was a samba content feast, and you looked like you were having fun, but you should try to vocalize to really express the movements.”
Bruno said, “You have more precision than a Rolex watch, but I wanted to see more fun.” Carrie Ann said, “I saw the fun in the performance. It had beautiful content and wonderful lines.” Len said, “This was terrific. It was full of rhythm and personality, and if you’re in the bottom two, I’m going to show my bum in the supermarket.”
Carrie Ann gave Heidi & Artem a 9 score, Len a 9, Michael a 10, Derek a 9 and Bruno a 9 for a 46 score.
Wayne Brady and Witney Carson did a Quickstep routine to “I Get A Kick Out Of You” song. Afterwards, Derek said, “This performance looked choppy and there were mistakes towards the end.” Bruno said, “This was the first time you’ve ever went wrong, but you still perform at the highest quality.”
Carrie Ann said, “There were some mistakes, but you two can work on being in sync with each other better.” Len said, “You pulled it off despite one or two mistakes, and you looked more comfortable out of hold than in hold.” Michael said, “I’m jealous and bitter because you’re good at everything you do.”
Carrie Ann gave Wayne & Witney an 8 score, Len a 9, Michael a 10, Derek an 8 and Bruno a 9 for a 44 score.
Jessie James Decker and Alan Bersten danced a Salsa routine to “Come Dance With Me” song. Afterwards, Bruno said, “Your legs are getting better, and I loved the lifts.” Carrie Ann said, “This was too bouncy for the salsa, and I wanted more refinement.”
Len said, “I loved the lifts and tricks, but your free arm is too wild.” Michael said, “I loved seeing the beautiful person come out in your dancing.” Derek said, “I love your fighting spirit. Your her arms did flail a little bit. But overall, it was well done.”
Carrie Ann gave Jessie an 8 score, Len an 8, Michael a 9, Derek an 8 and Bruno an 8 for a 41 score.
To cap off tonight’s performances, Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart performed a Foxtrot dance to “Feeling Good” song. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “This was a special way to end the night. You interpreted the music in a passionate way. You two got ahead of the music at one point, but you pulled it back.”
Len said, “You had more expression and energy in your arms. However, I would have liked more rise and fall.” Michael said, “I have a man-crush on Daniel, and you captured the essence so beautifully.” Derek said, “This was fantastic. You emote beautifully. However, your shoulders went up here and there.” Bruno said, “I loved your intensity and drive. You hit every accent in the side-by-sides.”
Carrie Ann gave Daniel & Britt a 9 score, Len an 8, Michael a 9, Derek an 8 and Bruno a 9 for a 43 score.
Next, they revealed that everyone was safe this week except for Jessie James Decker & Alan Bersten and Trevor Donovan & Emma Slater. They landed in the bottom two for voting.
The judges got to vote to save one of the bottom two couples. Bruno voted to save Trevor & Emma. Derek voted to save Jessie James & Alan. Carrie Ann voted to save Trevor & Emma and Len voted to save Trevor & Emma. So, by a vote of 3-1, Trevor Donovan & Emma Slater were rescued, and poor Jessie James Decker & Alan Bersten were eliminated. How do you guys feel about that? Let us know in the comments section.
