The Walking Dead Season 11, November 20, 2022 Episode 24 Is The Finale. Season 12 Not Happening
Hey, “The Walking Dead” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed episode 24 tonight, especially since it was indeed the very last episode of this season 11 and the last episode for The Walking Dead series forever! Yep, that’s right, guys. This is finally the end of the road for The Walking Dead series, which started way back in 2010.
According to Fansided’s Bamsmackpow website , it was confirmed way back in 2020 that season 11 would be the last season of The Walking Dead. So, it has been known for quite some time.
Apparently, AMC didn’t actually cancel The Walking Dead. The producers just decided that they should go ahead and end it with season 11.
The Walking Dead season 11 averaged 1.672 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.41 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 23, which aired last Sunday night, November 13, 2022, drew in 1.468 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.31 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 2.216 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 17 with 1.185 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.60 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 17 with a 0.27 ratings score.
Even though the original Walking Dead series has come to a close, that doesn’t mean The Walking Dead franchise is over. There’s currently the Fear The Walking Dead spin-off that’s currently running. Tales of the Walking Dead, and a two-season miniseries called, The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
Along with those spin-offs are a reported 3, new spin-offs in the works. The first one is “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” which will star Lauren Cohan aka Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan aka Negan. Apparently, they will head to New York City in it.
The second one will feature Norman Reedus aka Daryl Dixon heading off to France. The 3rd one will feature Andrew Lincoln aka Rick Grimes and Danai Gurira aka Michonne in a six-part series. So, again, there is definitely a lot to look forward to from the Walking Dead franchise in the near future. Get ready for it.
