Chicago Med Season 8, November 23, 2022 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Chicago Med” fans. Unfortunately, it’s one of those times again. We’re on here with some bad news for you. It turns out that Chicago Med is in delay mode again. So, NBC is not going to air the next, new episode 9 of Chicago Med’s current season 8 tonight, November 23, 2022. They’re also not going to air it next Wednesday night, November 30, 2022.
That was all the bad news. Now, for the good news. NBC has informed us that they plan to air the new episode 9 on Wednesday night December 7, 2022 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to not forget that very important date and time.
We did find out what NBC will be airing in place of Chicago Med during this 2-week delay. According to the TV guide listings, NBC is going to air a Thanksgiving special tonight. It’s called,”Countdown to Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “On the eve of the iconic Thanksgiving Day parade, Amber Ruffin hosts a behind-the-scenes peek at the incredible stories of the floats, balloons and bands prior to their journey through the streets of New York.”
Next Wednesday night, November 30, 2022, NBC is going to air a Christmas special titled, “90th Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “The 90th annual tree-lighting ceremony in New York kicks off the holiday season with a dazzling display of musical talents, star-studded surprises and the lighting of the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.”
If any of you guys are down to watch those specials, you might still want to tune into NBC during this 2-week delay. If you’re only interested in seeing brand new Chicago Med episodes, you will most certainly want to get some other plans in motion until that December 7, 2022 date gets here.
Spoiler Warning: for those of you who like spoiler scoops, we did track some down for the next, new episode 9 of Chicago Med’s current season 8 via NBC’s official episode 9 press release.
It revealed that this new episode 9 is officially named/titled, “HIS COULD BE THE START OF SOMETHING NEW.”
NBC’s official description for episode 9 reads like this, “Will relies on Crockett and Med’s newly donated OR 2.0 to save his patient. Charles helps an elderly confused patient who’s mourning the loss of his high school sweetheart. As their wedding day approaches, Ethan and April run into some roadblocks.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of Chicago Med’s current season 8 is scheduled to finally make its way to your TV screens on Wednesday night, December 7, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
