Blue Bloods Season 13 December 16, 2022 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Blue Bloods” fans. Unfortunately, we are back on here, right now, because we have some terrible news to tell you. Your favorite show Blue Bloods is currently being put on the backburner for 3, whole weeks! That’s right, guys. That means CBS is not going to air the next, new episode 9 of Blue Bloods’ current season 13 tonight, December 16, 2022.
According to CBS’ official episode 9 press release, they plan to air the new episode 9 on Friday night,January 6, 2023 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to not let that very important date and time slip from your memories.
We did find out what CBS will be airing instead of new, Blue Bloods episode during this 3-week delay period. According to the TV guide listings, CBS has a Blue Bloods rerun scheduled for tonight. It will be the 2nd episode of last season 12 titled,”Times Like These.”
CBS’ official description for this Blue Bloods rerun reads like this, “Tension escalates between Frank and Mayor Chase after Frank makes a public arrest that goes viral; Danny and Baez investigate a gang attack that takes an unexpected turn. Jamie worries when Eddie lies to him about where she’s going in the evenings.”
Next Friday night, December 23, 2022, CBS is going to air a 2021 Christmas movie called, “Christmas Takes Flight.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “A number-crunching CEO buys a family-owned airline and cancels the airline’s annual holiday charitable benefit. A pilot rallies the community to help save the event and unexpectedly finds herself falling for the magnate in the process.”
On Friday night, December 30, 2022, CBS is going to serve up another Blue Bloods rerun. It will be the 4th episode of last season 12 titled, “Good Intentions.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Jamie and Eddie experience marital tension when Eddie allows her newly released ex-convict father, Armin (Michael Cullen), to live with them.
Also, Danny and Baez go out of their way to help a desperate out-of-town man (Dave Quay) find his missing sister. Anthony enlists Erin’s help when new evidence arises in a closed case from his previous police career; and Frank goes head to head with Archbishop Kearns (Stacy Keach) when a local priest calling for the NYPD to be defunded causes friction between the force and the church.”
If this alternate CBS, primetime schedule sounds good to any of you guys, you might still want to watch CBS during this 3-week delay. If you’ll only settle for brand new, Blue Bloods episodes, you will definitely want to get some other plans cooked up until this 3-week delay is over.
Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we were able to dig up some new, spoilery intel for the next, new episode 9 of Blue Bloods’ current season 13 via CBS’ official episode 13 press release.
The first thing it let us know is that this new episode 9 is officially titled,”Nothing Sacred.” CBS’ official description for episode 9 reads like this, “Reagan family tensions run high when Frank and his grandson, Joe Hill (Will Hochman), contend with a grievous insult to the memory of Joe’s father, Joe Reagan.
Also, Erin and Henry work together to bust an over-the-phone scammer targeting the elderly; Danny intervenes in an undercover assignment led by his spiraling former partner; and Eddie’s captain takes suspicious interest in her efforts to locate a stolen puppy, on BLUE BLOODS.”
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of Blue Bloods’ current season 13 is scheduled to finally hit the air on Friday night, January 6, 2023 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
