Fire Country Season 1 December 16, 2022 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Fire Country” fans. Unfortunately, it’s time, once again, to pitch some bad news out to you. It turns out that CBS’ new drama Fire Country has gone into delay mode again. This time, it will be for a whopping three weeks! That means CBS is not going to air the next, new episode 9 of Fire Country’s current, premiere season 1 tonight, December 16, 2022 and for a couple more Friday nights to come.
CBS let us know through one of their official episode press releases that they plan to air the new episode 9 on Friday night, January 6, 2023 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to remember that very important date and time.
So, what does CBS have lined up to take over Fire Country’s vacant, Friday night time slot for the next 3 weeks? We did get a hold of that information. According to the TV guide listings, CBS is airing a new holiday special tonight. It’s titled, “The Greatest @Home Videos: Holiday Special.”
CBS’ official description for tonight’s holiday special reads like this, “An assortment of videos featuring awesome holiday cheer, not-to-be believed creativity and a sled full of internet gold.”
Next Friday night, December 23, 2022, CBS is going to air a Christmas movie called, “Christmas Takes Flight (2021).” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “A number-crunching CEO buys a family-owned airline and cancels the airline’s annual holiday charitable benefit. A pilot rallies the community to help save the event and unexpectedly finds herself falling for the magnate in the process.”
On Friday night, December 30, 2022, CBS is going to air a repeat episode of Fire Country. It will be the 5th episode of this season 1 titled, “Get Some, Be Safe.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “A vegetation fire gets complicated for the crew when a panicked horse refuses to evacuate a burning barn. Meanwhile, Vince’s brother Luke, the Cal Fire communications director, makes a surprise visit in town.”
If any of these alternate programs seem enticing to any of you guys, you might still want to keep watching CBS on Friday nights during this 3-week delay period. If you won’t watch anything else but new, Fire Country episodes, you will certainly want to remove CBS from your Friday night, Primetime schedule until January 6, 2023.
Spoiler Warning: We were able to track down an official teaser description for the next, new episode 9 of Fire Country’s current season 1 from CBS’ official episode 9 press release.
It let us know that episode 9 is officially titled, “No Good Deed.” CBS’ official description for episode 9 reads like this, “An internal investigation is launched after a difficult rescue went awry and a life was lost, on FIRE COUNTRY.”
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of Fire Country’s current, premiere season 1 is scheduled to finally show up on Friday night, January 6, 2023 at approximately 8 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
