Young Sheldon Season 6 March 16, 2023 Episode 16 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Young Sheldon” fans. Unfortunately, we don’t have good news for you in this article. It turns out that due to other obligations which we will touch on later on in this article, CBS is not going to air new episodes of Young Sheldon for 2 weeks. That means the next, new episode 16 of Young Sheldon’s current season 6 will not be shown tonight, March 16, 2023 and next Thursday night, March 23, 2023.
We do have official confirmation from CBS’ official episode 16 press release that they do plan to air the new episode 16 on Thursday night, March 30, 2023 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to remember that very important date and time.
Now for the big reason CBS isn’t airing new Young Sheldon episodes tonight and next Thursday night. According to the TV guide listings, CBS is currently busy providing nearly non-stop, LIVE coverage of the 2023 NCAA Men’s College Basketball tournament. Tonight, they’re going to be covering one of the first round games that features the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles versus the Duke Blue Devils.
CBS’ official description for their LIVE coverage of tonight’s game reads like this, “2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.First Round: Oral Roberts vs. Duke LIVE. The No. 12 Golden Eagles face the No. 5 Blue Devils in an NCAA Tournament First Four game. Summit League champion Oral Roberts has won 17 in a row. Duke’s streak sits at nine after taking the ACC. The Eagles’ Max Abmas averages 22.2 points per game.”
Next Thursday night, March 23, 2023, CBS will be doing more of the same by providing LIVE coverage of the 2023 NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament. This time, they’re going to air one of the semifinal round games. CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Regional Semifinal: Teams TBA LIVE. College basketball teams vie for the national championship.”
If any of you guys happen to be college basketball fans by any chance, you might still want to hit up CBS tonight to catch their LIVE coverage. If you’re not a college basketball fan and only want to watch new episodes of Young Sheldon, you will certainly want to get something else lined up for this 2-week delay.
Spoiler Warning: We did track down an official description for the next, new episode 16 of Young Sheldon’s current season 6 from CBS’ official episode 16 press release. It let us know that this new episode 16 is officially titled, “A Stolen Truck and Going on the Lam.”
CBS’ official description for episode 16 reads like this,”Missy steals her dad’s truck and hits the road with her friend Paige (Mckenna Grace) on YOUNG SHELDON.”
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of Young Sheldon’s current season 16 is scheduled to finally make its arrival on Thursday night, March 30, 2023 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
