New The Voice Season 23 April 3, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “The Voice” fans. We are back in your faces, today, because the people over at NBC will indeed serve up another brand new episode of your favorite reality singing show The Voice tonight, April 3, 2023. Tonight’s episode will be the 9th one for The Voice’s current season 23, and we’ve got a brief preview session for it.
NBC served up another new, official press release for tonight’s new, April 3, 2023 edition. So, we will certainly reference it for this preview session. Let’s dive into it.
In tonight’s new ,April 3, 2023 episode 9 of The Voice, you guys are going to see part 3 of the battle rounds take place. Another new set of contestants will battle it out against each other while singing the same song for the judges/coaches. Then, the judge/coach from their team will decide who they want to keep to go through to the Knockouts rounds. The one that they don’t keep will either get eliminated or stolen from a coach/judge of another team.
There’s also a coveted, new Playoff pass in the mix this year. Each coach/judge gets one, and it allows them to send a contestant straight through to the playoffs rounds so they can skip the Knockouts rounds.
NBC served up a new preview clip for one of the battles. It’s going to feature Michael B and Ryley Tate Wilson from Team Niall battling it out head-to-head by singing a song by artist Giveon. It’s titled, “Heartbreak Anniversary.”
In the clip, Chance The Rapper is seen saying, “This is one of the best performances we’ve seen in the Battle rounds so far. It’s incredible how you bounced off of each other, the arrangement. I loved the lyrics split you guys did.” Chance told Michael, “You killed that, man! You had great vocal control”
Kelly Clarkson said Ryley’s voice is raspy, but also beautiful, with an airy falsetto. Of Michael, Kelly said, “I don’t understand why you weren’t a 4-chair turn. Your runs are effortless. I am not going to help Niall at all right now. You two should be in the finale.”
Blake Shelton said, “We all knew what to expect from you. We knew it was going to be incredible.” Blake thinks Michael won the Battle. Niall jokes, “If they ask me to come back, I’m not coming back! Your performance was off the charts.

NBC’s official description for tonight’s new, April 3, 2023 episode 9 reads like this, “THE BATTLES PART 3. The Battle Rounds continue as the coaches prepare their artists to go head-to-head in hopes of advancing to the Knockouts or advancing straight to playoffs with the coveted Playoff Pass. Each coach has one steal and one Playoff Pass.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that The Voice is brand new again tonight, April 3, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit the air at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
