Chicago Med Season 8 April 12, 2023 Episode 19 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Chicago Med” fans. Unfortunately, it’s one of those times again. We’re back on here to drop some bad news. The folks over NBC are delaying new episodes of Chicago Med again tonight, April 12, 2023 and a couple more Wednesday nights to come because this is a 3-week delay, guys. Yep, this is a pretty long delay indeed. That means the next, new episode 19 of Chicago Med isn’t going to be seen for quite some time.
According to NBC’s official episode 19 preview clip, NBC doesn’t plan to air the new episode 19 until Wednesday night, May 3, 2023. During that time, it will air in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly try to do everything you can to remember that very important date and time.
We were able to track down what NBC is going to air in place of new Chicago Med episodes tonight and next Wednesday night. According to the TV guide listings, NBC has a couple of Chicago Med repeat episodes that are lined up and ready to go. Tonight, they’re going to re-air the 7th episode of this season 8 titled, “The Clothes Make the Man… Or Do They?”
NBC’s official description for this repeat episode 8 of Chicago Med season 8 reads like this, “Med runs out of scrubs, forcing the staff to improvise. The life of Archer’s son is in danger. Marcel and Charles help a kidney transplant patient experiencing psychosis. Asher and Halstead grow closer.”
Next Wednesday night, April 19, 2023, NBC is going to re-air the 8th episode of this season 8 titled, “Everyone’s Fighting a Battle You Know Nothing About.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Halstead and Marcel facilitate a trans-organ exchange. Asher and Cuevas help a sexual assault survivor. Choi and Archer treat a patient whose case could expose a fraudulent doctor; Grant and Maggie take a trip down memory lane.”
After the April 19, 2023 date, you guys will have to check your local listings to see what NBC has planned for the final Wednesday of this delay period.
If any of you guys find those repeat episodes enticing for whatever reason, you might still want to turn on NBC during tonight and next Wednesday night. If you have no desire whatsoever to see any repeat episodes of Chicago Med, you will certainly want to avoid NBC on Wednesday nights until that May 3, 2023 date gets here.

Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 19 of Chicago Med’s current season 8 is scheduled to finally to finally make its way to the air on Wednesday night, May 3, 2023 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot.
