Dateline NBC May 26, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat
Hey, “Dateline NBC” fans. We are back with some not-so-great news for you ,today, because NBC is not serving up a new episode of Dateline NBC tonight, May 26, 2023. That’s right, guys. You’re gonna have to settle for a repeat episode tonight. However, some of you guys might not have seen this repeat episode when it originally aired. If that’s the case, it could be like a brand new episode for you. So, we’re going to give you some preview info for this repeat episode.
The NBC people did put out an official press release for tonight’s repeat episode of Dateline NBC. So, we’re going to certainly take a look at it ,right now, and tell you what it’s all about. Let’s get to it.
First thing’s first. The official title for this repeat episode Of Dateline NBC is called, “In a Lonely Place.” It originally aired way, way back on December 6, 2019.
In this repeat episode, the Dateline NBC team took a deep look at a story about an entrepreneur from California named Chris Smith. He abruptly left his entire business, and his family just thought he might be traveling the world at the time. However, the real truth about Chris Smith eventually came to light, and it was extremely shocking to say the least because he turned up murdered!
Canadian broadcaster Keith Morrison handled the reporting duties for this episode, and it featured intense interviews with: Private Investigator Joe Dalu, Orange County Sheriff’s Department’s Sergeant Don Voght, family members and others.
NBC’s official description for this repeat episode of Dateline NBC reads like this,”After California entrepreneur Chris Smith abruptly leaves his business, his family initially believes he is traveling the world until the shocking truth comes to light.” An alternate description tells us, “The man convicted of murdering California entrepreneur Chris Smith speaks out.”
