New Outlander Season 7, August 18, 2023 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Outlander” fans. We’re back with some unfortunate news for you guys. It turns out that last week’s episode 8 of Outlander’ current season 7 was indeed the mid-season finale episode. So, you guys aren’t going to see the next, new episode 9 tonight, August 18, 2023 and for many more Friday nights to come. It’s actually not even confirmed what date STARZ plans to finally air the new episode 9 at the moment.
We’re being told by various sources that the new episode 9 is expected to turn up some time in 2024. So, that is a long ways off. Instead, you guys can expect to see STARZ air some other programming in Outlander’s 7 pm central standard time slot on Friday nights.
According to the TV guide listings, STARZ will be airing the tail end of the 2003 movie Bad Boys 2 in the 7 pm central standard time slot tonight, August 18, 2023. STARZ’s official description for it reads like this,”Two detectives (Martin Lawrence, Will Smith) uncover a conspiracy involving a drug kingpin (Jordi Mollà) while trying to stop the trafficking of Ecstasy in Miami.”
In the 7:30 pm central time slot, Starz is going to air a repeat episode of Minx. It will be episode 4 of season 2 titled,”Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Sexiness.” STARZ’s official description for it reads like this, “Joyce takes her eyes off the ball(s) and ditches work for her new rock star beau.”
Next Friday night, August 25, 2023, STARZ will be airing the tail end of the 2022 movie “The 355” in the 7 pm central standard time slot. STARZ’s official description for it reads like this, “CIA agent Mason “Mace” Brown joins forces with a rival German agent, a cutting-edge computer specialist and a Colombian psychologist when a top-secret weapon falls into the hands of a group of mercenaries.”
In the 7:30 pm central time slot, STARZ will air a repeat episode of Minx. It will be episode 5 of season 2 titled, “A Stately Pleasure Dome Decree.”STARZ’s official decription for it reads like this, “Joyce and Doug head to Vegas to sell the international rights to Minx; at Bottom Dollar, Tina aims to let loose and host a watch party for the Billie Jean King vs. Bobby Riggs tennis match.”
After the August 25, 2023 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what STARZ is serving up in the 7 pm central standard time slot until Outlander returns.
If any of you guys found that alternate line of programming to be attractive at all, you might still want to tune into STARZ tonight and next Friday night to check it out. If you didn’t like it, you will certainly want to get some alternate plans in the works.
According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, Outlander season 7 was currently averaging 342,000 LIVE viewers per episode,and a 0.03 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 8, which aired last Friday night, August 11, 2023, managed to draw in 334,000 LIVE viewers, and a 0.02 ratings score. Those don’t include the numbers for the streaming platforms.
Again, the next, new episode 9 of Outlander’s current season 7 is currently being delayed until at least sometime in 2024.
