Hey, “Dateline NBC” fans. We’re back in action on this Friday afternoon to let you guys know that NBC is dishing up another episode of Dateline NBC tonight, August 25, 2023. However, once again, this episode will be a repeat episode because they’re still in the offseason. Some of you guys might not have seen this repeat episode. So, we do have some new preview information for it.
NBC served up a new, official press release for tonight’s August 25, 2023 repeat episode. So, we will certainly take a look at it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
For starters, tonight’s, August 25, 2023 repeat episode does have an official title attached to it. It’s called, “Night of the Summer Solstice.” It originally aired way back on January 22, 2021.
In tonight’s August 25, 2023 repeat episode, the Dateline NBC team took a deep look at a story about a Los Angeles, California man named Ronald Baker. Way back in 1990, Ronald’s body turned up dead in an infamous Los Angeles-area train tunnel. His body was found by a couple of hikers. Ronald was 21 years old. The detectives that worked the case wondered if his murder was connected to his interest in an alternative religion.
Canadian broadcaster Keith Morrison handled the reporting duties for this episode and case. It featured interviews with: Retired detectives Rick Jackson and Frank Garcia, family members and others.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s, August 25, 2023 repeat episode of Dateline NBC reads like this, “Detectives investigate the 1990 murder of UCLA student Ronald Baker after his body is found in an infamous Los Angeles-area train tunnel.” An alternate description tells us, “When hikers find a 21-year-old UCLA student’s body in a Los Angeles-area train tunnel, detectives wonder if Ron’s interest in an alternative religion is connected to his murder.”
Again, NBC’s press release confirmed that Dateline NBC will be a repeat episode again tonight, August 25, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV sets, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
