Hey, “Dateline NBC” fans. We’re back in action to let you know that the folks over at NBC do have another episode of Dateline NBC all queued up and ready to air for you tonight, September 1, 2023. Like last week, this one will be another repeat episode because Dateline NBC is still in the offseason. Some of you guys might not have seen this particular repeat episode. So, we do have some preview information for it.
NBC put out a new, official press release for tonight’s September 1, 2023, repeat episode. So, that will certainly be our source for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
For starters, there is an official title for tonight’s September 1, 2023, repeat episode of Dateline NBC. It’s called, “The Blue Blanket Mystery.” It originally aired way back on April 29, 2022.
In tonight’s new, September 1, 2023 episode, the Dateline NBC team took a deep look at a story about a Sayreville, New Jersey woman named Michelle Lodzinski. She reported that her five-year-old son vanished out of existence while at a carnival. The investigation for this missing boy went on for a full decade until a family member finally found a very significant piece of evidence that pointed to a possible suspect.
Canadian journalist Andrea Canning handled the reporting duties for this episode and case. This episode featured interviews with former New Jersey Detective Keith Hackett, family members and others.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s September 1, 2023 repeat episode of Dateline NBC reads like this, “A decades-long investigation begins after a New Jersey mother reports that her five-year-old son vanished from a carnival.”
An alternate description tells us, “After New Jersey mother Michelle Lodzinski reports that her 5-year-old son has vanished from a carnival, detectives embark on a decadeslong investigation until a family member identifies a key piece of evidence pointing to a potential suspect.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed this repeat episode when it originally hit the air, you might still want to flip on NBC tonight to check it out. If you did already see this repeat episode, and you have no desire to watch it again, you will certainly want to make some other plans for tonight during that time.
Again, NBC’s press release confirmed that Dateline NBC will be a repeat episode again tonight, September 1, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
