Power Book IV Force Season 2 November 10, 2023 Episode 10 Is The Finale. Season 3 Not Yet Confirmed
Hey,”Power Book IV: Force” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed episode 10 tonight, especially since it was indeed the final episode of Power Book IV: Force’s current season 2. That means you guys will not get to see another new episode for quite a while. Possibly, forever. Yep, unfortunately, STARZ has not yet confirmed that a new season 3 will be happening.
However, what we can do is take a look at the numbers that Power Book IV: Force season 2 put up for STARZ and try to make an educated guess as to what they may or may not do. According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, Power Book IV: Force season 2 averaged 251,000 LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.06 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 9,which aired last Friday night, November 3, 2023, managed to draw in 304,000 LIVE viewers, and a 0.07 ratings score.
The most-viewed episodes were episodes 5 and 9. They both tied for first place with 304,000 LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 198,000 LIVE viewers. The highest-rated episode was episode 3 with a 0.08 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 6 with a 0,03 ratings score.
These numbers are most likely much, much higher if you tack on the viewers from the streaming platforms. Since this is a cable TV show, we guess those are ok numbers for STARZ. If those were the numbers for a major network like NBC, CBS, FOX or ABC, it would be canceled faster than you could say the word canceled.
We’ve seen STARZ renew shows with those types of numbers in the past. So, we think they’ll most likely keep Power Book IV: Force around. It’s part of their whole Power franchise, which is really popular for STARZ. I will say that season 1 had much better LIVE numbers. So, STARZ may take that into consideration.
I would tell you guys to most certainly cross your fingers for this season 3 renewal because these season 2 numbers aren’t anywhere near stellar. It looks like they lost about half of their season 1 audience. It’ll be close. Hopefully, they’ll squeak by. We’ll see.
