In tonight’s new, December 15, 2023 episode 20, the Dateline NBC team will take a look at a story about a Northhampton, Massachusetts woman named Annamarie Cochrane Rintala. She was a mother and paramedic before she was found dead at the bottom of her own basement stairs. It took a whopping 13 years and 4 trials to get a conviction for whoever was responsible for this terrible tragedy.
American journalist Dennis Murphy handled the reporting duties for this episode and case. It features interviews with: Prosecutor Steve Gagne, defense attorneys Rosemary Scapicchio and Chauncey Wood and others.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s new, December 15, 2023 episode 20 of Dateline NBC season 32 reads like this, “When young mother and paramedic Annamarie Cochrane Rintala is found dead at the bottom of her basement stairs, it took four trials and 13 years before justice was served.
