New 60 Minutes January 14, 2024 Episode 16 Preview Revealed
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. We’re back in your faces with some more good news because the CBS folks are indeed giving you another new edition of 60 Minutes tonight, January 14, 2024. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s new episode will be the 16th one for 60 Minutes’ current season 56, and we’ve got some new preview intel for it.
CBS put out an official press release for tonight’s new, January 14, 2024 episode 16. So, that is certainly what we’ll be taking a look at for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
In tonight’s new, January 14, 2024 episode 16, the 60 Minutes team will present two topic segments. The first segment is titled, “COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “With hybrid work hardening from trend to new normal, correspondent Jon Wertheim looks at the crisis in commercial real estate, specifically in New York City’s office sector.
As occupancy rates have hit historic lows and interest rates have spiked, the value of office buildings is tanking. It’s a growing problem nationwide, with more than a trillion dollars in commercial real estate loans set to expire in the next two years. Wertheim speaks with industry players about how they’re staying afloat in a sector of the economy that’s been rocked to its foundation. Nathalie Sommer is the producer.”
The second and last segment for tonight’s new episode 16 is titled, “MASTER OF THE MIND.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “Correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi reports on a groundbreaking approach to brain surgery that could revolutionize the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and drug addiction without any incisions.
Alfonsi follows neuroscience pioneer Dr. Ali Rezai for more than a year as he tests experimental procedures at the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute in Morgantown, W.Va. The results of Rezai’s clinical trials are changing the lives of his patients and may offer hope to others suffering from brain disorders. This is a double-length segment. Guy Campanile is the producer.”
CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of 60 Minutes’current season 56 is indeed scheduled to make its debut on your TV screens tonight, January 14, 2024, starting at approximately 6 pm central standard time. Tonight’s new episode will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 7 pm central standard time.
