New 48 Hours April 20, 2024 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back in your faces to tell you all about what you can expect to see in another new edition of 48 hours. That’s right, guys. The CBS folks are dishing up another new installment tonight, April 20, 2023. This one will be the 27th episode of this current season 37.
We were able to round up some new preview information for tonight’s new episode 27 via CBS’ official episode 27 press release. So, that is what we’re going to dive into for this preview session. Let’s go.
To start, there is an official title for this new episode 27 of 48 Hours season 37. It’s called, “Death by Eyedrops.” In tonight’s new episode 27, the 48 Hours team is going to take a deep look at a story about a female caregiver named Jessy Kurczewski. Back in October 2023, she was put on trial on charges of poisoning her friend Kynn Hernan with eye drops way back in 2018.
She reported to the police that she found Lynn dead in her recliner. However, 3 years later, she was charged with Lynn’s murder. To this day, Jessy claims she’s innocent and that the investigators got it all wrong. American correspondent Jericka Duncan handled the reporting duties for this episode and case.
CBS’ official description for tonight’s new, April 20, 2024 episode 27 of 48 Hours season 37 reads like this, “In October 2023, Jessy Kurczewski went on trial for the intentional homicide of Lynn Hernan, along with two counts of felony theft for stealing from Hernan.
Five years earlier, Kurczewski called the police and told them she found Hernan dead, sitting in her recliner, in the living room of her Pewaukee, Wis., condo. Kurczewski told investigators she had been helping take care of her friend, who had been struggling with health problems. Almost three years later, she was charged with poisoning that friend with eye drops. Contributor Jericka Duncan reports in 48 HOURS: “Death by Eye Drops.”
CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 27 of 48 Hours’ current season 37 is indeed scheduled to hit the air tonight, April 20, 2024, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
