New Saturday Night LIVE May 11, 2024 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “Saturday Night LIVE” fans. It’s that time of the week again. We’re back in action with another new preview session for you guys. In this one, we’re going to tell you who will be showing up to entertain you in this next, new episode 19 of Saturday Night LIVE’s current season 49, which is coming at you tonight, May 11, 2024.
Once again, NBC served up an official press release for tonight’s new episode 19. So, we will certainly dip into it for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
In tonight’s new episode 19, you guys are going to see 51 year old American actress and comedian Maya Rudolph show up to handle the hosting duties. This will be her 3rd time hosting the show. Some additional notes tell us that she’s won an Emmy Award 5 times, and she’s the executive producer of the second season of “Loot,” which is currently streaming on Apple TV+.
NBC’s official description for Maya Rudolph’s appearance on tonight’s new episode reads like this, “Maya Rudolph will host “SNL” for the third time on May 11. The five-time Emmy Award winner currently stars in and executive produces the second season of “Loot,” now streaming on Apple TV+.”
American rock band from New York City “Vampire Weekend” is going to show up to do the musical performances for tonight’s episode. The group consists of: lead vocalist and guitarist Ezra Koenig, multi-instrumentalist Rostam Batmanglij, drummer Chris Tomson and bassist Chris Baio. This will be their 4th time performing on the show. Some additional notes tell us that they are a Grammy Award-winning band. They’re currently on tour for their latest studio album titled, “Only God Was Above Us.”
NBC’s official description for Vampire Weekend’s appearance on tonight’s new episode reads like this, “Vampire Weekend will make its fourth appearance as musical guest. The Grammy-winning band is currently on tour with its newest album, “Only God Was Above Us.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that Saturday Night LIVE will be brand new again tonight, May 11, 2024,and it’s scheduled to show up in its usual, 10:29 pm central standard time slot. It will be a 90-minute event. So, expect it to wrap up at 12 am central standard time.
