New 48 Hours May 18, 2024 Episode 31 Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back to give you guys another new preview session for CBS’ 48 Hours news show. In this one, we’re going to see what the next, new episode 31 of this current season 37 is going to feature when it shows up tonight, May 18, 2024.
Once again, CBS was nice enough to give us an official press release for this new episode 31. So, we’re going to open it up and see what it has to say right now. Let’s do it.
For starters, CBS let us know that this new episode 31 does have an official title. It’s called, “The Puzzling Death of Susann Sills.” In tonight’s new episode 31, the 48 Hours team is going to take a deep look at a story about a woman named Susann Sills. She was the wife of a renowned California fertility doctor named Dr. Eric Scott Sills before she was found dead at the bottom of a stairway in her house.
The investigators who worked this case did find some evidence that seemed to be consistent with an accidental fall. However, there was some other evidence that suggested some possible foul play was involved. Correspondent Tracy Smith handled the reporting duties for this episode and case.
CBS’ official description for tonight’s new episode 31 of 48 Hours season 37 reads like this, “On Nov. 13, 2016, Dr. Eric Scott Sills, a renowned California fertility doctor, called 911 and reported finding his wife and business partner unresponsive at the bottom of the stairs. An initial investigation revealed some evidence that was consistent with an accidental fall. But other evidence pointed to something more sinister. What role, if any, did the family dogs play? Correspondent Tracy Smith reports in 48 HOURS: “The Puzzling Death of Susann Sills.”
An alternate description tells us, “THE WIFE OF A FERTILITY DOCTOR IS FOUND DEAD – DID HER DOGS PLAY A ROLE OR WAS THE SCENE STAGED TO COVER A MURDER?”
CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 31 of 48 Hours’ current season 37 is indeed scheduled to show up on your TV sets tonight, May 18, 2024, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+. It will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
