Grey’s Anatomy Ben Warren Coming Back As Series Regular Again In New Season 21

Hey, “Grey’s Anatomy”: fans. If you’re a fan of Jason George’s Ben Warren character, you’re going to absolutely love what we have to tell you in this article. If you’re not a Ben fan, well there’s not much we can do for you right now.

With all that said, we’re officially hearing from the folks over at Deadline.com that the Grey’s Anatomy production team have decided to bring back good ole Ben Warren to be a series regular on Grey’s Anatomy for it’s upcoming, new season 21. He used to be a series regular on seasons 12 through seasons 14. His very first appearance on Grey’s Anatomy occurred way, way back in season 6.

After season 14, the Ben Warren character was downgraded to a guest character and sent off to be a series regular on the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off show Station 19, which just recently got canceled after 7 seasons. At the end of the Station 19 series finale episode, Ben was seen telling Captain Andy Herrera that he’s going back to finish his surgical residency, which will, of course, land him back in the Grey’s Anatomy world on a regular basis.

Also, Ben is ,of course, married to Grey’s Anatomy character Miranda Bailey. So, we might see more interactions between those two now that Ben is back as a series regular. We’ll have to wait and see.

As for when the new season 21 is scheduled to premiere, we’re still waiting for an official announcement from ABC. However, it is currently believed that the new season 21 will start up around late September 2024. Of course, we’ll jump back on here and give you guys the exact date when ABC finally announces it.
