New The Boys Season 5 Is Happening, But That Will Be The Last One
Hey, “The Boys” fans. Unfortunately, we have some not-so-great news for you guys. What’s good about it is that we can confirm that The Boys will be back for a brand new season 5 at some point in the future. The bad part is that the new season 5 is reportedly the last season you’re ever going to get forever.
Yep, guys. It’s true. Apparently, the show’s creator Eric Kripke recently hit up his official Twitter account to announce the unpleasant news. He revealed that it was actually his plan all along to end The Boys in 5 seasons, and that he just needed to get the final ok on it.
He wrote, “Season 5 will be the Final Season! Always my plan, I just had to be cagey till I got the final OK from Vought. Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax. The folks over at Deadline.com revealed that season 5 was given an early greenlight from Amazon back in May 2024.
Currently, there is no release date for the new season 5 that has been officially announced, but it’s believed by various sources that it will debut in the summer of 2026. Again, we’ll have to wait for an official announcement from Amazon for the real release date. So, stay tuned for that very important information.
