Saturday Night LIVE July 20 & 27, 2024 Episodes Not New. They’re Repeats
Hey, “Saturday Night” fans. It’s time, once again, for us to jump on here and let you know the bad news that you won’t be getting new episodes of Saturday Night LIVE tonight, July 20, 2024 and next Saturday night, July 27, 2024. Yeah, 48 Hours is currently in its offseason. So, NBC is just serving up repeats until the Fall rolls around.
Actually, we need to tell you that there won’t even be a repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE hitting the air next Saturday night due to some Olympic coverage that NBC is doing. We’ll tell you more about that later in this article.
First, we’re going to tell you which repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE that NBC is re-airing tonight. They’re re-airing the one that originally aired back on October 21, 2023. It featured Puerto Rican rapper, singer and record producer Bad Bunny showing up to handle both the hosting duties and the musical perfomances.
Next Saturday Night, July 27, 2024, NBC is actually going to devote their Saturday Night LIVE time slot to covering the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. This one will feature skateboarding and surfing events.
NBC’s official description for their LIVE coverage of the 2024 Olympic Games at this time reads like this, “2024 Paris Olympics. Skateboarding, Surfing. Coverage of the men’s skateboarding street final, a report of from the first day of surfing in Tahiti and more.”
If any of you guys are down for watching this repeat episode and some Olympic games events, you might still want to hit up NBC to tonight and next Saturday night to check all of that out. If you only want to see new episodes of Saturday Night LIVE, you will certainly want to avoid NBC on Saturday nights until the fall rolls around. We’re still waiting for an exact date announcement from NBC for new episodes.
Again, it’s been confirmed that Saturday Night LIVE will be a repeat tonight, July 20, 2024, and it’s not even going to air at all next Saturday night, July 27, 2024, due to some 2024 Summer Olympics coverage.
