60 Minutes August 18, 2024 Repeat Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. We’re back in action on this beautiful Sunday afternoon to inform you that the CBS people are serving up another repeat episode of 60 Minutes tonight, August 18, 2024. As we previously reported, you guys can look forward to brand new episodes finally popping up when the new season 57 premieres on September 22, 2024. So, definitely remember that important date if you can.
In the meantime, we do have some preview intel for tonight’s repeat episode. The CBS people put out an official press release for it. So, we’re going to dive right into it.
In this repeat episode, you guys are going to see a total of three segments that originally aired in past episodes. The first repeat segment is titled, “CRISIS AT PEARL HARBOR.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Soon after a fuel spill occurred close to the Navy’s main drinking water system at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, base leadership assured thousands of families in military housing that their tap water was safe.
Parents later learned the truth: the water they drank or used to bathe their children was contaminated with jet fuel. Correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi tours the once secret fuel storage site where the water crisis at Pearl Harbor began and meets military families who blame their health problems on the Navy’s response to the spill.”
The second repeat segment is titled, “DR KUZNETSOV.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “In the last two years, Ukraine has become the most mined country in the world, surpassing warzones like Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. 60 MINUTES’ Scott Pelley travels to Izium, Ukraine – one of the most contaminated towns in the country – to see the crisis firsthand. On the ground he meets injured civilians, a heroic doctor treating them, and the deminers working to clear their land, mine by mine.”
The 3rd and final repeat segment for tonight’s episode is titled, “INDIAN RELAY.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “60 MINUTES correspondent Bill Whitaker reports from the chaotic and high-speed racetrack of “America’s original extreme sport,” Indian Relay.
As horse nation tribes unite for an exciting and dangerous bareback horse race, Whitaker looks at how the sport continues to grow and offer new opportunities of pride to the next generation of Native American youth.”
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that 60 Minutes is hitting the air with another repeat episode tonight, August 18, 2024 in the 6 pm central standard time slot. Alright, guys. That is a wrap for this latest, “60 Minutes” TV show, preview report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
