20/20 August 30 Repeat Episode Preview Reveals Deadly Instagram Case And More
Hey, “20/20” fans. We’re back in action to let you know that another repeat episode 20/20 is headed your way tonight, August 30, 2024. That’s right, guys. We’re going to get these repeat episodes from ABC until September 20, 2024, because that’s when the new season 47 will officially premiere. So, definitely try and remember that very important date if you can.
In the meantime, we do have some preview intel for tonight’s repeat episode straight from the ABC folks. So, we’re going to pull it up right now. Let’s go.
Tonight’s repeat episode is the 21st one for past season 45. It’s titled, “A Model Murder.” It originally aired way, way back on February 24, 2023. In this repeat episode, the 20/20 team took a deep look at a Las Vegas woman named Kelsey Turner.
She is an Instagram model who had a financial relationship with a 71 year old psychiatrist that turned deadly. American reporter Chris Connelly handled the reporting duties for this episode and case. He interviewed a first-hand witness in this episode and more.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s repeat episode of 20/20 reads like this, “Kelsey Turner seemed made for Las Vegas. An Instagram model with a Playboy past, her lavish lifestyle captivated her tens of thousands of social media followers. But behind the scenes, an unexpected figure was financing her life of luxury.
Dr. Thomas Burchard, a 71-year-old child psychiatrist and well-respected community member, was doling out his life savings to support the flashy influencer. When Burchard was found dead in a car abandoned in the desert, the illusion of this Instagram-worthy lifestyle came quickly crashing down as investigators set their sights on Turner and her boyfriend, Jon Logan Kennison.
ABC News contributor Chris Connelly has an exclusive interview with Diana Peña, a firsthand witness to the crime who provides a shocking turn-by-turn account of the fatal day, the cover-up and days spent on the run.”
Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that 20/20 is hitting the air with another repeat episode tonight, August 30, 2024 in the 8 pm central standard time slot. It will be a 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
