Big Brother September 5 Evicted Joseph Rodriguez In LIVE Eviction Episode (Recap)
Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, September 5, 2024, another new, LIVE eviction episode for Big Brother’s current season 26 did indeed hit the air, and we saw another unlucky houseguest get evicted and sent home at the end of it.
Tonight’s new, LIVE eviction episode kicked off with footage of conversations that took place in the house after Leah saved Angela at the last POV ceremony, and HOH (Head Of Household) Quinn threw up Joseph as a replacement nominee.
Leah told the Diary Room aka private cams, “I decided to use the veto on Angela because my game is benefited by her being here. She would never put me up, and she’s someone I can count on.” Quinn told the private cams, “Leah has to play her game, and I get that.”
Kimo told the private cams, “I know I have to fight in the AI Arena to stay in this house.” Angela told the private cams, “I really do see Leah and I going to the end together. She’s like a daughter to me.”
Joseph told the private cams, “I’m pissed off at Quinn. If I’m HOH next week, he’s going on the block.” Quinn told the private cams that he still thinks he’s working with Joseph.
Quinn told Makensy and Cam, “I felt so blindsided. I was so sure Leah wasn’t going to use it.” Cam told the private cams, “I’m on board to keep Joseph in the house.” Chelsie told the private cams that she wasn’t so sure about keeping Joseph. “I think Joseph sees me as a threat, but I’m working with Cam. So, I might have to keep Joseph,” she said.
Quinn told Joseph, “I’m sorry that I put you up.” Joseph told the private cams, “I’m annoyed at Leah’s decision to use her veto on Angela.”
Chelsie told the private cams she was annoyed at how close Makensy and Cam have been getting. T’kor campaigned to try and get Joseph out. So, she used the friction between Chelsie and Cam to try and get Chelsie’s vote for Kimo to stay over Joseph, and Chelsie seemed to buy it, telling the private cams,”I’m not playing this game for any man. I might need to vote Joseph out.”
After all of that, Joseph, Kimo and Rubina competed in the BB AI Arena competition. It was titled, “Bandwidth Boosters.” It was a physical competition that required them to use their whole body to untangle enough rope from a platform that would allow them to make it to another platform and plug in a piece for the win.
Rubina won the BB AI Arena comp to claim her safety. So, Joseph and Kimo became the final two eviction nominees for this week. They were given a few minutes to campaign for votes. After that, they gave their final plea speeches. Then, the rest of the houseguests minus the current HOH Quinn cast their votes to evict.
Makensy, T’kor, Rubina and Chelsie all voted to evict Joseph. Cam, Leah and Angela voted to evict Kimo. So, by a vote of 4-3, Joseph was evicted from the Big Brother season 26 house tonight.
Joseph gave his exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves. During it, Joseph told Julie, “I’m really confused. I don’t know why Makensy voted me out. I have no hard feelings. It’s big brother. I would be a hypocrite to say I never lied in this game.
I should’ve been more emphatic with Quinn to not put me up on the block. I’m not mad at Quinn. I just think it was idiotic of him to put me up there. I had his back in this game. I made it much further than I thought I would. Just being here was amazing.”
To wrap up tonight’s LIVE eviction episode, Ainsley told the remaining houseguests that they’ve made it to the jury. The BB AI Arena twist is finally over. That means they’re going to get back to playing the regular game where only two houseguests get nominated for eviction, and they can only save themselves via the POV competition. So, thank God for that. I can’t stand all these twists.
The next, new HOH (Head Of Household) competition is scheduled to take place later on tonight. So, we’ll get back on here to let you know who won it as soon as that info becomes available.
