New The Voice September 23 Premiere Episode 1 Preview Reveals New Coaches & More

Hey, “The Voice” fans. We’re back in action to welcome you to the brand new season 26 of The Voice! That’s right, guys. Tonight, September 23, 2024, is finally the night that the NBC people will dish up the very first premiere episode 1 of this new season, and we do have some new preview info for it to run by you guys.

NBC was nice enough to give us an official press release for tonight’s new episode 1. So, we will certainly see what it has to say right now. Let’s get to it.

In tonight’s new episode 1, you guys are going to see this new season kick off with a session of the traditional Blind Audition rounds. Two, new celebrity coaches/judges will show up. They are legendary rapper Snoop Dogg, and legendary singer Michael Buble. They will join returning celebrity coaches/judges Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani. The contestants will try and deliver a performance that’s good enough to get at least one of the judges to turn their seat around and pick them to be on their team.


NBC’s official description for tonight’s new, premiere episode 1 of The Voice season 26 reads like this, “The Voice. The Blind Auditions Season Premiere. The competition is fierce as Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé each claim their red chairs; alongside returning coaches Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani, they all vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.”

Additionally, we’ve also got a list of singers who will be appearing in tonight’s new episode 1 from the folks over at MJSbigblog.com. The first contestant on their list is: 323. They’re a trio consisting of: Jonathan Perry, Jacob Sumpter and Kinsley Treadwell.

The second contestant on their list is Austyns Stancil. He is an R&B singer, originally from Oakland, California who now resides in Kansas City, Missouri. Cameron “La Diva” Wright is another soulful singer. Cami Brooks is a season 21 no chair turn from Mount Shasta, California.

Cassidy Lee is another returning contestant from Jacksonville, Florida. She is a rock singer. Danny Joseph is a rock singer originally from London who now lives in Dallas, Texas. Edward Preble is a Latin crooner, and he will be representing the old-school crooning style in Season 26. He is from Florida.

Frankie Torres is a female, soul and R&B singer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jaukeem Fortson, a 13-year-old, male singer from Georgia. Katie O is an 18-year-old country singer from Jacksonville, Florida who advanced to Hollywood in Season 20 of American Idol in 2022.

Kay Sibal is an actress and singer from San Francisco and a UCLA alum. Lauren-Michael Sellers is a Nashville based pop country singer/songwriter from Birmingham, Alabama.

Mikaela Ayira is a soulful pop singer from Atlanta, Georgia. Sydney Sterlace is a 15-year-old, female singer from Buffalo, New York. Sofronio Vasquez is a male, Filipino singer with a history of competing, including Season 6 of the Filipino show, Tawag ng Tanghalan where he took 3rd place. In 2021, he won the Kumu Diamond Award.

Again, NBC’s press release confirmed that the new, premiere episode 1 of The Voice’s new season 26 is indeed scheduled to arrive tonight, September 23, 2024 in the 7 pm central standard time slot. It will be a 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 9 pm central standard time.
