New Masked Singer October 2 Episode Preview Reveals Footloose Only Songs & More
Hey, “The Masked Singer” fans. We’re back in your faces with another new Masked Singer episode preview for you guys. Yep, tonight, October 2, 2024, the FOX people will serve up another new episode. This one will be the second installment of this current season 12.
We were able to get a hold of an official press release for tonight’s new episode 2 from the FOX people. So, we will certainly pull it up and see what it has to say right now. Let’s go.
The first thing FOX let us know is that the theme for tonight’s new episode 2 is “Footloose Night.” That means you’re going to see the contestants only sing songs from the soundtrack of the classic movie Footloose, which starred Kevin Bacon way, way back in the 1980s. Apparently, they’re celebrating the 40th anniversary of it.
Additionally, celebrity panelist Robin Thicke is going to hit the stage to sing a special rendition of the “Footloose” song by Kenny Loggins. Four, new celebrity masked singers will perform in this episode. The celebrity panelists: Ken Jeong, Rita Ora, Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg will all be on hand with host Nick Cannon.
FOX’s official description for tonight’s new episode 2 of The Masked Singer’s current season 12 reads like this, “Cut loose with “Footloose Night” as The Masked Singer celebrates the 40th anniversary of the iconic film! Panelist Robin Thicke opens the evening with a showstopping rendition of Kenny Loggins’ “Footloose” and the panel can’t help but bust a move! Tune-in to see the four celebrities from Group A belt out fan-favorite songs from the movie soundtrack in the all-new “Footloose Night” episode of The Masked Singer.”
Again, FOX’s press release confirmed that another new episode of The Masked Singer is hitting the air tonight, October 2, 2024, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 8 pm central standard time.
