New The Simpsons October 13 Episode 3 Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “The Simpsons” fans. We’re, unfortunately, back on here with some bad news for you guys. The FOX people apparently have some other TV obligations to attend to tonight, October 13, 2024. So, they are not airing the next, new episode 3 of The Simpsons’ current season 36 tonight. They’re going to make you wait an extra week to see it.
Yep, according to FOX’s official episode 3 press release, FOX doesn’t plan to air the new episode 3 until next Sunday night, October 20, 2024 in the 7:30 pm central standard time slop. So, certainly try and remember that very important date and time if you can.
Now, let’s get to the reason why FOX isn’t airing a new episode of The Simpsons tonight. According to the TV Guide listings, FOX has cleared out their entire primetime line-up to provide LIVE coverage of a Major League baseball game that features the New York Mets vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers.
FOX’s official description for their LIVE coverage of this Major League baseball game reads like this, “MLB Baseball. New York Mets at Los Angeles Dodgers Live. The Dodgers host the Mets for Game 1 of the NLCS. New York was 11 games below .500 after losing to Los Angeles on May 29, but have since gone 72-42 for an improbable NLCS run. Enrique Hernández’s 14th career playoff homer helped LA bounce San Diego.”
If any of you guys also happen to be fans of Major League Baseball, you might still want to flip on FOX tonight to catch this game. If you’re not a Major League baseball fan and only want to see new episodes of The Simpsons, you will certainly want to ditch FOX tonight and make some alternate plans.
Again, FOX confirmed that the next, new episode 3 of The Simpson’s current season 36 is finally scheduled to make its arrival to your TV screens next Sunday night, October 20, 2024 in the 7:30 pm central standard time slot.
