First thing’s first. There is an official title for this new episode 4. The writers decided to call it, “Doubted.” It sounds like episode 4 will feature some very scandalous, intense, dramatic, emotional, action-filled, suspenseful and interesting scenes.
In this new episode 7, the attempted kidnapping and sexual assault of an FBI employee’s family member is the main focus of this one and only storyline that CBS chose to reveal. Yep, it turns out that the sister of FBI employee Sydney Ortiz will almost get kidnapped and sexually assaulted at some point. In response to this terrible, attempted crime, Sydney will run to Isobel and the team to try and get assistance in tracking down the culprit who tried to kidnap her sister.
CBS’ official description for this new episode 4 of FBI season 7 reads like this, “When the sister of FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) profiler Sydney Ortiz (Lisette Olivera) is the victim of an attempted kidnapping and sexual assault, Sydney seeks help from Isobel and the team in tracking down a meticulous serial offender who leaves no evidence behind on FBI.”
An alternate description tells us, “A BEHAVIORAL ANALYSIS UNIT PROFILER ASKS FOR THE TEAM’S HELP AFTER HER SISTER IS THE VICTIM OF AN ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING.” Episode 4 was written by Bryce Ahart & Stephanie McFarlane, and it was directed by Alex Chapple.
