Survivor November 13 Voted Off Sol Yi In A Very Messy Fashion (Recap)
Hey, “Survivor” fans. Tonight, November 13, 2024, another new episode of Survivor’s current season 47 did indeed hit the air, and we saw another unlucky contestant get the boot in a very messy fashion.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with talk about the last tribal council meeting, which blindsided the heck out of Sierra and sent her to jury. Sam told the private cams, “Tribal council was horrible. Gata is no more. Gata got got. It’s every man for himself. Andy and Lava flipped on us. Their only mistake was keeping me in the game.”
Rachel told the private cams, “I played my shot in the dark to gauge reactions so I didn’t have to play my idol.” Andy told the private cams, “I’m a certified flipper ,now, after flipping on Gata. It’s complete Survivor satisfaction to flip the script.”
Rachel and Andy talked. Andy told Rachel, “I want you in this game.” They talked about working with each other. Rachel told the private cams, “I feel like me and Andy can work together on getting some votes.”
Teeny apologized to Sam for blindsiding him . “I hope there’s still some point where we can work together,” she said. Sam told the private cams, “I need play along for now and get my revenge later.” Sol told the private cams, “I like that Sam is not getting emotional or pissed. Maybe I can work with him.”
After all of that, host Jeff Probst showed up with a new immunity challenge. In this one, they were split into pairs of two, and it was a multi-stage challenge with teams getting eliminated each stage. The teams were: Kyle & Gabe, Sue & Genevieve, Caroline & Rachel, Sam & Andy and Teeny & Sol.
In the first stage of this challenge, they had to go through obstacles to get a puzzle step. In the second stage, they used the puzzle steps to build a staircase to get up a platform, cross a balance beam and go down a slide for the win. In the 3rd stage, the last two teams were split up into 4 individuals to compete for themselves. The 3rd stage featured and endurance competition that required them to stand on a narrow foothold for as long as they could. The last person standing, won immunity, and that person was Gabe. He just edged out Kyle.
Rachel, Caroline, Sam and Andy lost during their stages. So, they lost their vote at the next tribal council meeting. However, they got a chance to earn their vote back by taking a journey and successfully completing a challenge.
This immunity challenge doubled as a reward challenge. The last four contestants in the challenge got to enjoy a sandwich picnic. The final 4 were: Gabe, Sol, Kyle and Teeny. Kyle told the private cams, “I’m a sitting duck now” after coming in second place.
Sue told the private cams that she wants to blindside Kyle. Genevieve told the private cams that she’s ready to get Sol out.
Rachel, Caroline, Sam and Andy took their journey to compete to get their tribal council meeting votes back. Only three of them could win it back. The challenge was a card tower stacking challenge. During it, they stacked cards to create a card tower. The first one to make the tower fall, lost. That unlucky person was Caroline so she lost her vote. Sam, Andy and Rachel regained their votes.
Sol pitched out Sam’s name as a target. Genevieve campaigned to Gabe that she wanted to target Sol. She told Gabe that she heard Teeny and Sol campaigning to get Gabe out. Gabe told the private cams, “If Sol is coming after me, he will regret that. I think we could get Sol out, but I need certain people to be onboard.” Kyle agreed to the plan to get Sol out.
Gabe told the private cams, “It’s a bummer that Caroline lost her vote because I needed her vote for the plan to get Sol out. We need to find someone else.” Genevieve campaigned to Andy for the Sol plan. Andy said he would do it. Genevieve also pitched the Sol plan to Rachel. She told the private cams that she felt sort of bad about it since Sol saved her with his advantage, but she needs to make new allies.
Rachel told Sam about the plan to get out Sol. So, Sam told Sol about it and told the private cams, “I want to blow things up. I want Sue out of this game because she’s playing a very good social game.”
Sol told Teeny about the plan to get him out. Teeny told the private cams, “We have to save Sol.” Sam told Andy that Sue is getting targeted. Teeny told Genevieve the plan switched to vote for Sue. So, Genevieve was upset about her plan to target Sol got blown up. After that, the plan switched again to target Kyle! However, the target was still questionable heading into the tribal council meeting.
At the tribal council meeting, some whispering took place. Sam whispered to Teeny that Sue was the target. Teeny said something feels weird. Gabe told Teeny he’s voting for Kyle. The whispering continued to happen because they hadn’t all agreed on a solid plan yet. Finally, they seemed to agree on something. So, the voting finally started.
Sue got 1 vote, and Sol received a whopping 5 votes. So, with the 5 votes, Sol was voted off. Sol told everyone, “Good game, guys. Good luck everybody.” He said, “Ah, they got me. They got me good” on the way out.
Sol told the private cams, “They got my a*s. I’m gone, but this was a dream come true. I’m humbled by this experience. It was awesome.” Alright, guys. That is a wrap for this latest, “Survivor” TV show, recap report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
