The Simpsons December 1 Episode Not New. Episode 8 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “The Simpsons” fans. Unfortunately, we have some bad news for you guys in this article. For some unknown reason, the FOX people have decided not to air the next, new episode 8 of The Simpsons’ current season 36 tonight, December 1, 2024. Nope, they’re making you wait an extra week to see it.
According to FOX’s official episode 8 press release, FOX doesn’t plan to air the new episode 8 until next Sunday night, December 8, 2024. During that time, it will air in the 7:30 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to remember that very important date and time if you can.
In the meantime, we did take a look at what FOX is going to serve up instead of a new The Simpsons episode tonight. According to the TV Guide listings, FOX is going to dish up a repeat episode of The Simpsons. This one will be the 7th one for last season 35 titled, “It’s a Blunderful Life.”
FOX’s official description for this repeat episode 7 of The Simpsons season 35 reads like this, “Lisa recounts the story of how Homer was scapegoated for a power outage that plunged Springfield into darkness days before Thanksgiving.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed that particular repeat episode of The Simpsons the first time it aired, you might still want to flip on FOX tonight to check it out. If you did already see that repeat episode, and you have absolutely no desire to watch it again, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight. Then, check back next Sunday night to catch the new episode 8.
Again, FOX confirmed that the next, new episode 8 of The Simpsons’ current season 36 is scheduled to finally make its way to your TV screens next Sunday night, December 1, 2024 in the 7:30 pm central standard time slot.
