New Yellowstone Season 6 Still In Question. Paramount Plus Yet To Officially Renew It
Hey, “Yellowstone” fans. We totally hope you enjoyed tonight’s new episode 14, especially since it was indeed the finale episode of the show’s current season 5. That means you guys might not ever see a new episode of Yellowstone ever again, and at the very least, it will be a pretty long while before you do.
That brings us to the next focus of this article, which is will there be a new season 6 of Yellowstone? Unfortunately, we cannot officially confirm with you, right now, if a new season 6 is actually happening. However, we can tell you that there is speculation and news going around about Paramount+ possibly looking to move forward with a new season 6 despite Kevin Costner’s John Dutton departure.
The people over at Showsnob.com say they talked with an industry insider named Lesly Goldberg about this topic, and she told them that Paramount+ is looking to keep Yellowstone going with stars Cole Hauser aka Rip Wheeler and Kelly Reilly aka Beth Dutton, taking over the leading roles.
Lesley went as far as to say that they are actually closing a deal with Paramount+ to do this. Lesley stated, “Sources say that Yellowstone O.G. will not end with season five. It will simply continue without Kevin Costner but with stars Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly, who are closing deals to return.”
Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly were already signed on to do a spin-off show for the network titled, “The Madison,” but then it’s reported that Paramount+ went ahead and decided to just use them for an actual continuation of the Yellowstone series.
The folks over at Esquire.com are pretty much reporting the same thing. So, we’ll see what all eventually ends up happening at some point in the future, but that’s all we’ve got for ,right now, in regards to the future of this show.
