The 48 Hours December 28 Episode Is Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back on here to give you some not-so-great news tonight. It turns out that the folks over at CBS have decided not to give you guys a new episode of 48 Hours tonight, December 28, 2024.
Yep, instead, they’re going to dish up a repeat episode of 48 Hours. Since some of you guys might not have seen this particular episode when it originally hit the air, we do have some preview intel for it.
CBS served up an official press release for this repeat episode. So, we will certainly reveal everything it has to say for this preview portion of this article. Let’s get to it.
Tonight’s repeat episode is officially titled, “The Journals of Maria Muñoz.” It originally aired back on December 16, 2023.
In this repeat episode, the 48 Hours team took a deep look at a story about a nurse anesthetist’s wife who turned up dead. The autopsy revealed that she had a puzzling combination of drugs in her system. There was also a pinprick mark located on the crease of her right elbow.
CBS’ official description for this repeat episode of 48 Hours reads like this, “A nurse anesthetist’s wife is found dead with a puzzling combination of drugs in her system and a pinprick mark on her right elbow crease.”
If you happened to have missed that particular repeat episode of 48 Hours when it originally aired, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to check it out. If you did already see it, and you only want to see a new episode 48 hours, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight and check back next Saturday night. We are being told that another new episode will hit the air next Saturday night, January 4, 2025.
Again, it’s been confirmed by the people over at TV Guide that 48 Hours will be a repeat episode tonight, December 28, 2024, and it will show up at approximately 9 pm central standard time. This episode will be a one-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
