New Golden Globe Awards To Air LIVE January 5. Preview Revealed
Tonight, January 5, 2025, the 2025, 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards are set to air LIVE on CBS in the 7 pm central standard time slot. We’ve got some preview information for the event in this article.
For those of you who don’t know, the Golden Globe Awards is an awards show for the film and television industry. This year’s award show is going to be hosted by female comedian Nikki Glaser.
And a fun fact. Nikki is actually one of the award nominees this year too. She was nominated for “Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television” for her comedy special titled, “Nikki Glaser: Someday You’ll Die.”
The nominations for this year’s award show were revealed back on December 9, 2024. The musical/thriller movie, “Emilia Pérez” reportedly scored a whopping 10 nominations. So, look for that movie to possibly get a lot of possible award action tonight.
The drama/history flick “The Brutalist” got a whopping seven nominations to take second place. So, that’s another film to look out for at the awards ceremony tonight.
The thriller/mystery movie titled, “The Conclave” is another movie to look out for tonight because it scored six nominations.
On the television side of things, the comedy/drama series “The Bear” got five nominations. The drama series titled, “Shogun” tied with the comedy/drama series titled, “Only Murders in the Building” with four nominations.
Again, the 2025, 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards is scheduled to air LIVE tonight, January 5, 2025 on CBS, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time. This will be a 3-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time. This event will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
