New The Simpsons January 5 & 12 Episode 12 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “The Simpsons” fans. Unfortunately, we’re back in your faces with some very unfortunate news because The people over at FOX are not going to air a new episode of The Simpsons tonight, January 5, 2025 and for many more Sunday nights to come.
Yeah, it turns out that last Sunday night’s episode 11 was it for a while. According to one of our sources, FOX isn’t currently scheduled to air the next, new episode 12 until Sunday night, February 16, 2025. During that time, it will air in the 7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly try to remember that very important date and time if you can.
In the meantime, we did track down what FOX is airing instead of new episodes of The Simpsons tonight and next Sunday night. According to the TV Guide listings, FOX is going to air a repeat episode of a show called, “Going Dutch” in the 7 pm central time slot. This repeat episode is the very first premiere episode 1 of its current, premiere season 1 titled, “Pilot.”
FOX’s official description for this repeat episode 1 of Going Dutch season 1 reads like this, “The colonel is reassigned to take emergency command of USAG Stroopsdorf in the Netherlands. Sgt. Conway provides the colonel and Shah with a tour of the things Stroopsdorf is known for… cheese, laundry and bowling.”
In tonight’s 7:30 pm central standard time slot, FOX is airing a repeat episode of Animal Control. It will be the very first premiere episode 1 of its season 3 titled, “Giraffes, Gorillas and Penguins.’
FOX’s official description for this repeat episode 1 of Animal Control season 3 reads like this, “The crew must contain a freak zoo break. Frank realizes that he needs to break up with Yasmin. Emily finds an unexpected benefactor in a celebrity businesswoman.”
Next Sunday night, January 12, 2025, FOX is airing a repeat episode of The Simpsons. It will be episode 1 of it’s current season 36 titled, “Bart’s Birthday.”
FOX’s official description for this repeat episode 1 of The Simpsons season 36 reads like this, “Bart celebrates the most shocking birthday party of his entire life — one that might just change everyone in Springfield forever.”
After the January 12, 2025 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what FOX is going to serve up in The Simpsons’ Sunday night time slot until that February 16, 2025 date gets here.
Again, it’s been unofficially confirmed by one of our sources that the next, new episode 12 of The Simpsons’ current season 36 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air on Sunday night, February 16, 2025 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot.
