America’s Funniest Home Videos February 23 Episode Not New. New Episode Date Revealed
According to the people over at TV Guide, it has been confirmed that ABC is not airing a new episode of America’s Funniest Home Videos again tonight, February 23, 2025. Apparently, the show is currently on a pretty long hiatus. The last new episode aired back on Sunday night, January 26, 2025.
The next, new episode is going to be episode 12 of its current season 35. According to ABC’s official episode 12 press release, they plan to finally get around to airing the new episode 12 on Sunday night, March 9, 2025. During that time, it will air in its usual, 6 pm central standard time slot.
In the meantime, we did find out what ABC is airing in place of America’s Funniest Home Videos tonight and next Sunday night. TV Guide is telling us that they will air a repeat episode of America’s Funniest Home Videos tonight. It will be the 21st episode of last season 34.
ABC’s official description for the repeat episode 21 of America’s Funniest Home Videos season 34 reads like this, “Nine of the season’s funniest videos vie for a prize of $100,000. Viewers look back at some comedic gems of the ’90s. Amusing slumber moments.”
Next Sunday night, ABC is going to clear out their entire primetime line up to deliver LIVE coverage of the 2025 Oscar Awards. ABC’s official description for their LIVE coverage of the 2025 Oscar Awards reads like this, “Honors for achievements in film.”
If that alternate line of programming sounds enticing to any of you, you might still want to keep ABC on your Sunday night watchlist tonight and next Sunday night to check all that out. If you won’t settle for anything other than a new episode of America’s Funniest Home Videos, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for Sunday nights until that March 9, 2025 date arrives.
Again, ABC confirmed that the next, new episode 12 of America’s Funniest Home Videos’ current season 35 is scheduled to finally hit the air on Sunday night, March 9, 2025 in its usual, 6 pm central standard time slot.
