New Dateline NBC February 28 Episode To Feature A Haunted House Murder Scandal
NBC is officially scheduled to air another new episode of its hit news show Dateline NBC tonight, February 28, 2025, and it will feature a very scandalous murder that took place at a haunted house and more. This episode is the 17th installment for this current season 33.
NBC’s official episode 17 press release is telling us that this episode is officially labeled/titled, “The Haunted House Confession.”
In this new episode 17, the Dateline NBC team is going to take a deep look at a story about a 25 year old, Brown County, Texas woman named Chantay Blankinship. She was sadly murdered, and the detectives who worked this case ended up finding her remains at an abandoned building that the local people nicknamed the “Haunted House.”
The investigators kept running into leads that went nowhere. However, a very shocking confession was finally made during a church service, and it totally changed everything about the progress of this case.
Dateline correspondent Blayne Alexander handle the reporting duties for this episode and case. It features interviews with: Chantay’s sister Destinee Jarvis, Chantay’s mother Michelle McDaniel, Texas Ranger Jason Shea, Brown County Sheriff’s Office Captain Scott Bird, churchgoers Russell and Linda Lemond.
NBC’s official description for this new episode 17 of Dateline NBC season 33 reads like this, “After 25-year-old Chantay Blankinship’s remains are found at an abandoned building that locals call the Haunted House, investigators sort through dead-end leads until a stunning confession during a church service changes everything.”
An alternate description reads like this, “BLAYNE ALEXANDER TO MAKE DEBUT AS AN OFFICIAL DATELINE CORRESPONDENT. Alexander to Report for All-New ‘Dateline’ on the Chilling Murder of a Young Texas Woman.”
Again, NBC’s press release confirmed that another new episode of Dateline NBC is scheduled to hit the air tonight, February 28, 2025 in the 8 pm central standard time slot. It will be a 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
