New Matlock March 20 & 27 Episode 16 Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing For A While
CBS is officially confirmed to not air the next, new episode 16 of Matlock’s current, premiere season 1 tonight, March 20, 2025 and next Thursday night, March 27 due to a LIVE, televised event that CBS has agreed to cover.
According to CBS’ official episode 16 press release information, CBS does plan to finally air the new episode 16 on Thursday night, April 3, 2025 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly try to remember that very important date and time if you can.
According to TV Guide, CBS is providing LIVE coverage of the 2025 NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament aka March Madness tonight and next Thursday night instead of airing a new episode of Matlock.
CBS’ official description for their March 20, 2025 LIVE coverage of the tournament reads like this, “2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. First Round: Arkansas vs. Kansas Live.
Prolific coaches lead the No. 10 Razorbacks and No. 7 Jayhawks into the NCAA Tournament’s first round. John Calipari (ARK) is ninth all-time with 875 wins. Bill Self (KU) has 831. The Jayhawks extend their record with a 35th straight NCAA appearance.”
CBS’ official description for their Thursday night, March 27, 2025 LIVE coverage of the tournament reads like this, “2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Regional Semifinal: Teams TBA Live. Men’s college basketball teams vie for the NCAA Tournament title.”
If any of you guys are also college basketball fans, you might still want to hang with CBS tonight and next Thursday night to check out their LIVE coverage of this tournament. If that’s not the case for you, you will certainly want to make some other plans for Thursday night until that April 3, 2025 date gets here.
