New SWAT March 21 & 28 Episode 16 Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing For A While
CBS is confirmed to not air the next, new episode 16 of SWAT’s current season 8 tonight, March 21, 2025 and next Friday night, March 28 due to some other TV obligations they have committed to fulfilling.
According to CBS’ official episode 16 press release intel, CBS is scheduled to finally air the new episode 16 on Friday night, April 4, 2025 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be on the lookout for the new episode 16 to show up on that very important date.
According to the folks over at TV Guide, CBS has ditched the airing of new SWAT episodes tonight and next Friday night to provide LIVE coverage for the 2025 NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament aka March Madness.
CBS’ official description for their March 21, 2025 coverage of the basketball tournament reads like this, “2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. First Round: Xavier vs. Illinois Live.
The No. 11 seed Musketeers march into their NCAA Tournament first-round game against the No. 6 Fighting Illini. Xavier erased a 10-point second-half deficit in a First Four contest to beat Texas going away 86-80 behind Marcus Foster’s 22 points.”
CBS’ official description for their Friday night, March 28, 2025 coverage of the basketball tournament reads like this, “2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Regional Semifinal: Teams TBA Live. Men’s college basketball teams vie for the NCAA Tournament title.”
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of SWAT’s current season 8 is scheduled to finally make its arrival to your TV screens on Friday night, April 4, 2025 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot.
