New Spider Man 4 Movie ‘Brand New Day’ Filming Details, Release Date & More Revealed
According to numerous reports including the folks over at Variety.com, the brand new Spider Man 4 movie has officially been given its title. It’s called, “Brand New Day.”
They’re reporting that the filming of this new flick is scheduled to start filming as early as this summer 2025. The movie’s director Destin Daniel Cretton made that very important announcement over at CinemaCon.
It’s also reported that the movie’s main star Tom Holland sent a special video message to the event because he was not able to attend it in person due to some other movie filming he had to do. In his video, he dropped a very brief, but interesting teaser about the new Spiderman 4 flick, claiming it will present a fresh start.
His video message stated, “I am so sorry I can’t be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie. I know we left you with a massive cliff hanger at the end of ‘No Way Home.’ So, ‘Spider Man: Brand New Day’ is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That’s all I can say.
That’s all I’ve been allowed to say, and I’m well over the hump of giving away spoilers. So, don’t be worried. I’m not going to do that today.”
Variety’s report also revealed a release date for the new movie. It’s scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
The director Daniel Cretton commented on what his approach will be to directing this movie stating, “I’m spending my time exploring the next stage of this amazing character with a team of the most incredible artists in the world.
We’re all, just daily, nerding out over the suit, how to swing, how to create an event, an emotional story, and a ride that we haven’t really seen before.”
Lastly, Variety said that Peter Parker’s best friends MJ played by Zendaya and Ned played by Jacob Batalon are expected to appear in the new Spiderman 4 movie.
